The first morning after we arrived in Jogja. Alhamdulillah..the kids were getting better, especially Freya. She was healthy and cheerful as usual. What enticed me most is the fact that...we got jajan pasar (traditional morning snack) for our pre-breakfast menu.:) Thank you, Tante Yuni, for the snack.
and..then...the first dinner we got...was one of the things on my top-menu list to have in Jogja--> PENYETAAAAAANNNN!! it's not that special for meat-eating lovers, but for a vegetarian like me...tempe and tahu plus sambal . But, they (soy bean and tofu with Indonesian style sauce) are priceless......^^. oh, did I mention about the traditional-feel of the restaurant? It's nice..and not to mention the banana-leaf we had for our plate?
hmm...that's a real-touch of this traditional cuisine.
We had our first dinner at a restaurant called Waroeng Penyetan @ Jalan Gejayan, Jogjakarta. For anyone who loves sambal and penyetan, it's a must-visit restaurant.
Upon going back home, I snapped some pictures and one of them was...this:)
Kaliurang intersection has always been full of huge billboards displaying ads or anything.
ㅋㅋㅋ this may sound funny and weird, but I kinda miss seeing these huge billboards on the streets.
Welcome back to Jogja, Suray.
Enjoy your 3-week vacation before going back to Seoul.
