wow. this is one of the best video about this theme park. I think it should be one of the official ad for this park.
Bismillahirrohmanirrohim.... This is the place where I am jotting down my daily lives, my experiences, travels, joys, and things I cherish in life.. along with my family's journeys. This has been a great and will be a beautifully ridden life. In short, did that, been there, will be...all those vistas.

Trans Studio Bandung (TSB): Is It really the Biggest Indoor Theme Park in The World?
Oh really? I do not believe it. Not that I have been there. Nope. It's just that I once heard the DUBAI FERRARI WORLD (FW) as the biggest indoor theme park in the world. NOT this TSB. well, I am not sure about it as to whether TSB or FW as the biggest one. Some people say it IS FW and NOT TSB. hehehe:)
It might be true. (just my assumption based on DUBAI's excessively gargantuan development projects) and based on the googling!!!! It looks so enormous much much enormous than the TSB hehehe:)
But things sometimes are getting silly when I recollect the first time I heard about this so-called recognition or acknowledgement or claim as being the biggest in the world.
Although I am not sure, I still vividly remembered the first time in 2009 - 09 -09 (September 9, 2009) when Makassar Trans Studio in South Sulawesi being the biggest indoor theme park in the world back then. It must've been so at that time. Not this time.
Irrespective of the fact that I still need to make sure myself as to which one is bigger (although I am at times convinced that FW is the biggest:) ......I think the only thing left on my mind is the determination to come and visit Bandung myself.
BECOZ it is closer and cheaper.:)
Then, I will try and test my gut ......in the midst of the seemingly challenging rides being offered at TSB.

Catatan-catatan yang tertinggal selama di Australia
Catatan-catatan tercecer selama di OZ. (diary)
Heheh. Sekarang lagi pegel linu ini tetap senang. It was a long and hectic day. Or night juga ya.
Waduh.
Dibukalah tas ku, hehehehe benar disuruh menunjukkan membawa apa saja.
Alhamdulillah they let me go dengan bilang, they’re okey, darling. Good’dayJ
Back to kamar di Youth hostel
Tapi managed to be in sydney. Heran memang.
Lha ternyata sekarang lagi summer vacation sampai februari. Gimana coba. Asyik ya. Memang summer kog pas bulan desember. Agak gak ngerti. (haloo suray...this is the southern hemishpere gitu lho)
Nach, setelah itu,ketemu pak steve.
Aku gedor gedor di depan pintu sampai 20 menit pak steve tak kelihatan. Ternyata beliau makan di restoran. Walah...
Oky....masalah belum selesai.
Tapi saya membayangkan kota ini ada di indonesia.....hmmm what a great idea.
Kutipan: ‘gung, ngapain sih kog naik kereta. 12 jam lebih lho. Kamu itu mau ngapain? Lihat gurun pasir? Padahal kalo naik pesawat kan cepat . bagaimana? Sdh makan nasi?
What? Memangnya aku tukang pijat?
Kutipan: makanya....makan nasi yo. Jangan roti terus.
Oya:
1. Hari ini pertama kali saya makan sandwich SUBWAY. Isinya sayuran, tapi saya salah ngomong...diberi picklesnya banyak. Waduh....sakit perut. Dan kepedasan merica.
2. Terus...saya sakit peruttttt (maaaff) hiks karena susu sini belum cocok ke perutku, ma. Ngisin ngisini....
Alhamdulillah sudah sembuh kog. Well...inilah secuil catatan catatan tg pengalaman di oz. Entah kapan lagi bisa ke sana lagi. Semoga bisa.
Pondering on Time Travel: feats, fact
What would yo do if you could just turn back in time and do something or better yet—fix and mend—the flaws you made in the past. You might want to change the way you looked or what you had said when you met your first time boy/girlfriend....(to say the simplest thing)..or better yet...you might want to put a bet on a game or buy some rocketing stock by investing some money in it (to say the coolest thing).
Wouldn’t it be an intriguing treat if we could? Suppose we could not just go back and forth in between, but rather..we could do much more than that....such as what I’d mentioned earlier. Still, would there be any moral hazards from the deeds we would’ve done if we could do it? I think there will be, unless we just go and be back in between time to enjoy our other-selves in the past as a mere ‘vacation to the past’ without any intention of changing what had happened. Then, only then, would this be a simple yet rewarding treat in itself—as a medium to understand ourselves.
Now the question is, up to now, this so-called “time travel” has always been just a mere and distant fantasy that most people would enjoy dreaming of. And, that is the very reason as to why we have lots of entertainment dealing with the theme, be it in movies or in books.
Until human finds a way to realize this (seemingly?) improbable feat, we could just wonder and dream about it. God knows when...even if it did come...or will it?
**This has been a nothing more than a trivial thought of someone who watch too many sci-fi movies**
Kediri (Part 3)
Going back home to Kediri to attend my cousin's wedding banquet.
it was a well planned trip since we still got some spare time to see the town after and before the party.
I took a lot of pics of her. can't get enough of...
well..she's kinda adorable.
she was like....stopped to pose. strike to pose, never knew where she learned it from.
Stopped (on purpose) to have a slice of PH in town. ( the simple reason was that....we got lots ..and loads of food at home for the wedding, but we (still) wanted to have something different. (sigh:) :)
...We managed to be in town to taste the 4D experience. they said it was the first ever in town.
well...not bad for such a small town like Kediri. :) hehehe.
Eyra (and for sure her sister) did enjoy the time we spent there.

Bandung Trans World Studio...
or....any other names you may call it.
yes....those are the theme park names....which have been lingering on my mind for the past several days. I am planning to go there next month. around the third week of July...is -- I think -- sort of a perfect time to go there.
well...with the so much hypes and stuffs going on on the net....this particularly dubbed ..so called one of the biggest indoor theme park in the world.....really has captured everyone's attention.
who does not want to go there...?
well...not every one would certainly easily get enticed by something like this.
but IT DOES entice me....and I am planning to take my whole family to have a vacation there.
...bismillahirrohmanirohim....I hope that it's gonna be a great family trip.

Novotel, Solo Central Java
Just a stone-throw away from Jogja...or a 55 minute ride by commuter train to Solo from Jogja.
we decided to take a weekend short trip to Solo.
nothing special to celebrate.
just wanted to spend a different nuance and atmospheric weekend.
spent the whole day in the hotel vicinity, strolled along slamet riyadi's main street.
jogging down the relatively wide lane of pedestrian.
having dinner at Solo Grand Mall.
going around by becak in Solo.
swimming and spending the morning at the pool.
my kids were so happy and excited to be there. That is great.

Bertiga
Bertiga di ambarukmo plaza during Ramadhan.
well..it is going to be another year of Ramadhan season. Never thought that time flies so fast like this.
it was last year's ramadhan festivity that we went to at the mall :( pathetic, eh.
but then...that was the only thing that we could come up when it comes to talking about last year's ramadhan. gosh.
enough said. the thing is....
the picture taken here is the one we took with an outfit and backdrop provided by the mall.
looking back....both eyra and freya were so ecstatic.

Canberra City Youth Hostel
Canberra City YHA.
Yup, that was the place where I stayed on my last visit to Australia.
well...it's comparatively cheaper than any other starred hotels scattered around this not-that-big city in ACT.
I took a picture in front of the front desk where...as you may be able to see...
there are a lot of 'welcome' note from several languages which are attached /put up on the wall.
see the pic?
interesting...
the place is near the Canberra Center ( the place) where I used to do quick shopping before catching up things .
well...'tis a good place to stay for backpacker like me....:)

Taking Freya to Campus
About a few weeks ago..on Friday, my wife took my elder kid to school. my mother-in-law got her routine haemodialysis(?) at the hospital. So, my little princess--Freya--was alone at home. and...I got something to do at the office. So, I got no other choice but to take her along to campus.
to my surprise, she was sooooo happy to be in campus.
she loved taking a walk on the shady lane in the campus.
she even joined me in the masjid kampus (the mosque) for Friday prayer.
...but...she just couldn't be still during the sermon.
she kept talking and walking around while the sermon was attended.
but...the most important thing was that Freya.....was happy being with me. :)

Movie World, Gold Coast, Australia
Movie World, Movie World. Gold Coast, Oz.
well, the first time ever to MW. it was such a thrilling ride and fun time to spend.
Went there with my hyeong's family.
though it was some time ago....but the memories do still linger on.
I think the Batman ride, Superman rollercoaster, and the Lethal Weapon's sickening roller coaster were really the highlights of the trip.
Great.

Eyra is no longer a Kindergarten kid
Well, 'Tis Thurday, June 23, 2011:
She got all of her class report and homework, worksheet, pictures, paintings, her handicrafts...and all the works she made at kindergarten for almost 2 years.
well, today is the last day she became a balita :) a kindergarten kid.
I will miss the time she put on her Saturday's outfit...since on Saturdays..I am the one who mostly takes her to school. I remembered taking her on a bike in the morning before going to school.
hmm....it has been indeed such a blessed time and moment.
Now, Eyra is ready for the next step into elementary school.
Memory @ Gama Candi Resto, Jogjakarta
Yes...the Gama Candi Restaurant which used to be situated right in front of Jogjakarta railway station (TUGU) had gone a.k.a. disappeared. Too bad, really..coz my wife really loved going there to enjoy the grilled or fried crabs and lobsters or any other sea food.
we once celebrated our anniversary there. The place was cozy especially at night, as you can see in the pic.
but...it is now all just a memory. the place is now deserted...
hmmm...I wonder where the new Gama Candi restaurant had gone...or moved.

Penganan Korea
Jangan kaget. Don't be shocked.
I think this cutely and intricately decorated+wrapped snacks are too nice and cute to eat.
I can't think of myself having to eat all of these.
well..the fact is...I got it from my Korean friend who happened to visit Jogjakarta.
She feels that she needs to give us something and HOPLa..this is it.
wow...it was nice.
amazingly...all of those little snacks are actually available in Indonesia. BUT
the BIG difference is how the Korean manages to put the TOUCH into their original snacks.
They look so fancy, so expensive-looking items.
hmmmm......

Fun with Dick and Jane
Just recently watched this movie again. Turned out to be quite amusing. Not-that-bad movie to watch and enjoy. Two scenes really got my attention:
the first one was....
...the one with Jim Carrey being apprehended by the US-Mexico border police. Alas, he just dropped his wallet just when the police raid a group of supposedly immigrants where --once again alas--Jim carrey was there. He couldn't prove his Identity as an American. To top if off, he just had a bump on his lips that he barely speak American accent English...which surely led the police to assume that he must be one of the supposedly illegal Mexicans. Trying hard to convince the police that he was indeed an American, he had a chance to hand in his handphone to the police asking him to call home...just in time when Jim's son answered the phone by saying, "HOLA?"
..
the second one
was the closing minutes when Jim or Dick and his wife, Jane, were driving their newly purchased car after being able to get their money back........
on the road..they met one of their colleagues who shouted that the had been hired at a new energy company named: ENRON.
what?
I was flabbergasted and churned my tummy to see the movie ends just like that.!!!
what a nice ending:) simply loved it.
Weekend with the kids
Weekend with Eyra and Freya?
it's been a month since the last time we took them out for a walk.
well, as always...:) taking a walk means..shopping at the malls. hmmmm...not a good term, isn't it?
the truth is ...we barely find perfect time to do shopping for Freya''s pampers, milk, and other 'unileverian-stuffs we need. So, it all came back all again and again that we should go to this mall--particular Mall, AMplaAz. Ambarrukmo Plaza...where we mostly hook ourselves up.
Eyra...and Freya were as usual....glad (at least, I thought so:). They couldn't let their eyes off the glowing lights above and all the toys they could dream of.
In fact, they were sleepy even before going out. So, I am pretty much sure..that they were trying hard to enjoy the evening. But I guess they did, though.
so, we spent another hour in Carrefour just to spend $20 on milks, pampers, noodles, fruits, and ..........gosh I didn't know what we bought. the truth? we spent $ 40 or more......for a night!. yep...that excluded the CDs and Tapes we bought earlier. wasn't it awesome ? awesome? oh come on Suray......come to ur senses.....what were you thinking?................
I just hope that I will get something good in return for having spent something on these things...in fact..I did spend it on things that eventually we need anyway. hmmm is it an excuse or what? ....
I just pray and hope that we will be wiser in spending.
But..hey..................irrespective of all those.....I couldn't let one fact go....i.e. Eyra was so happy during all evening.
and that's what Money can't buy.

Tanjung Tabalong, Kalimantan
..it took me about 16 hours to get to Tabalong from Jogjakarta. well...we left Jogja at about 8.25 heading for Surabaya for a 4-hour long transit in a small and damped Juanda airport. The truth is that....Juanda is bigger...than Adisucipto Airport in Jogja. The reason I got this cramped feeling over the trip was simply the lack of entertainment and things to do in the airport while waiting for that long. nothing to do. just sitting and doing nothing.
It was lucky that I managed to buy a local newspaper just to kill time.
It didn't work.
It helped a little.
Even I got to scrutinize every bit of small-ads on the paper just to make myself amused.
gosh...
but then...the time for boarding a plane heading to Banjarmasin came.
for about 45 minutes the planed landed at Syamsuddin Noor Airport in Banjar Baru (NOT Banjarmasin as I had thought before).
so...instead of going downtown..we were going further away away from the city.
I thought the trip to Tabalong would take about 4 hours or so. To my surprise..it took me almost 9 hours just to get through a 247 km long distance.
Not to mention the conditions of the rugged roads and the traffic jam that unfortunately seemed like to welcome me on board:)
hehe...well..I can smile now.
BUT I can assure you..that I didnot even pun a smile even a grin on my face. I was crooked and shagged.
nothing to do.
bored and stucked in a car.
that was what I felt during almost an hour of traffic jam right in the middle of nowhere...
it was a good thing that I am a kind of person who could do the impossible in enjoying small and trivial stuffs. :) true!
I tried so hard to find myself some amusing facts and scenes I spotted along the way to Tabalong irrespective of its being dard outside.
The car that took me all the way down to Tabalong had a few stops in between. we had some drinks. stretched our legs...and dinner.
I happened to be a vegetarian and I found it hard to adjust myself to the food. Meat Meat and Meat. or Fish Fish and Fish....grilled fish....baked fish..olala...
no worries.
for I could always soothe myself for something else...
at about 11 pm or so...we finally arrived in Tabalong.
a city full of surprises...
what are those?
well...I will blog them out in my next blogs...
hints: coal mining. big trucks. oil mining. kids. schools. water. air conditioners:). heat. food. shopping. mandau. and stuffs...
but one thing left me speechless....IT WAS indeed a marvellous experience..despite its shortcomings...
I did enjoy my trip to Tabalong.

KL Kuala Lumpur
This is the reminiscence...or sort of remnants of what I had after being in KL..
The second time of being in KL really perturbed me in a sense of being aesthetic. I love it. I just got here at 5 pm. And it was my first time ever to be in KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport). Gosh…indeed it is the best airport I have ever been to for such a while. I thought I was in Incheon (Seoul International Airport) when I got there…because the chic was just the same…but what makes KLIA differs from Incheon is its human-touch state of the art architecture. It captured me.
So..I took the sky train to the baggage claim and immigration section. ..one thing that really captivated my attention. I assume KLIA is designed so…..as to make people feel the difference. KLIA really makes my experience cool enough to share with others.
And so…as soon as got from the train, I remembered that I didn’t have a single Ringgit with me. So…the only thing that popped out of my mind was to find any money changer. The first one that caught my attention was Maybank…but it turned out that the dollar I got was not acceptable. Simply put…without giving me any reasons why…I was told to try some other money changers…and so I did.
I forgot what it was…but luckily I managed to change a hundred buck into Ringgit. Gosh..what a realief.
And then…I rushed myself to the entrance door…to find anyone…who might have waited for me..
And it was not easy as I thought…
I had no idea of who would pick me up at the airport. I kept looking at each papers and lots of inscriptions written on papers.. Lots of people were carrying their hotel names complete with each hotel’s guests. But none of them is mineJ oh sigh
And then I circled and circled all people…
Nothing worked.
I found no one carrying a plate inscribed with my name…
And then…I circled for one last time…when I got my attention to one paper and my name written on it:)
finally I met my friend....:)
the highlights: since I got no other things to do...:) so..here it is.:)

my 2008 class' studio photo session
What a great moment I had with my students today!
well, it was actually a well-planned event that almost all students of my 2008 class have been waiting for.
It was no other than...a studio photo session!
yep...that's just it.
we went to a studio called 'Alvin' just about 3 km from campus.
the thing was...we were like a group of 40 students or more. and to make things better: we hardly fit into one
frame of the camera. But, thankfully and gleefully....it was beautifully crammed and captured and freezed in
the most unusual way of natural acting out of my students.
we took about 30 takes before we got numb of our knuckles and knees and
we were like running out of ideas as to how to pose. yep...never had I imagined that it would so hard to strike
a pose.......naturally.
but, we did it.
love the way my 2008 class students handled and managed the photo session to celebrate the end of the semester; as well as...my Korean Indonesian translation class.
what a great ride with my students.
it's gonna be a splendid moment and memory, indeed.

Two-colored lake!
Air Terjun Dua Warna, yes, that's what I learned through the net. it is located in North Sumatra. Upon stumbling on the picture of this eerily and heavenly lake, I felt like choked-up since it is too heavenly amazing to be true..in existence, yet it does. I haven't been there..but it is so tempting to go there...hmm.

Kediri (Part 2)
Kediri (Part 2)
Since it was not an executive class, we got no AC,instead it was only a ceiling fan decoratively attached over over outr seatsJ. Yes, it happened that the only fan over our seat was seemingly unoperational (or else...should I say...broken?). well, that was the case.
But, the most important thing of all was the fun that my daughters had during the trip. They did enjoy having a kind of ‘picnic’ time on the train. We just ate all the snack we brought, we had fun playing with the drapes. Yes, you read it correctly, it was the drapes that my kids were playing with. The wind that was blowing throught the windows of our compartment was somewhat strong enough to move and flip over the drapes that it looked like it was hovering over us. So..that made the kids went crazy over it. They couldn’t just stop playing around with it.
......
We arrived at Kertosono train station (Stasiun Kereta Api Kertosono) at around 11.10 just to find that our train for Kediri had alreadly left about 15 minutes earlier. GoshL
We thought that we had just enough time to catch the Kediri-bound train. But, unfortunately, the train left ealier. Nope, it was not earlier than it had supposed to; and neither did our train. We just arrived on time as scheduled.
So..I later on learned that ....the Kediri-bound train was usually about 15 minutes ealier than the Sancaka train we rode on that day.
So, I had no other option but to call my sister to pick us up at the station which is actually about 35 km away from homeJ hehehe. But in about 30 minutes or so, she did manage to arrive at the station to pick us up. Great.
now...we are on our way to Kediri. home sweet Home.

Pilih Trans World Studio Bandung, Trans Studio Makassar atau USS (Universal Studios Singapore)?/
Sebenarnya kalau urusan iklan pariwisata , Singapura memang tak diragukan lagi.
Bandung:)
Maunya Beli Susu tapi...
Satu lagi tambahan: pampers! alias popok bayi.
Nah inilah masalahnya.

Nah inilah masalahnya.
Kog Kamu Bisa Hidup?
Saya seorang vegetarian (daging, ikan, ayam dls..tak pernah saya makanJ. Tak (pernah) merokok. Tak (suka) minum kopi. Jadi kalau teman-teman saya sejak dua hari lalu ‘pesta’ sate kambing, sapi, rendang, dan seabrek makanan serba daging…apalagi pas Idul Adha…hmmm saya hanya bisa ikut merayakan saja—tanpa merasakan seperti apa daging itu. Memang…tak ada keinginan untuk makan. Jadi, bukan masalah.
Pondering over SOURCE CODE (the movie)
Just watched “Source Code” for the second time. It really got me. It did. I never thought that I would be able to see one of the most positively reviewed movies in the first few months of 2011, i.e. Source Code. I do not know who I should thank to for having released this particular movie to Indonesian cinema. Okey, I am not going to talk about this..but I am thinking of writing what I have been thinking over the movie since I watched it twice. Yes, twice in a week.:)
I think it owed to the fact that the movie itself successfully intrigued the moviegoer like me to watch one of the sleeper movies like this one. I think the credit should come to the Director (Mr. Duncan Jones….?:)
I was glued to the seemingly intricate and preposterous storyline, BUT yet….it won my heart and my mind as well. An idea that parallel realities do exist as suggested in the film DOES get me head over heel about the movie Especially, Jake Gyllenhaal’s superb and subtle acting did get me. I did buy his acting and his feeling. In addition to his plausible acting, I also admired Vera Farmiga’s cool and determined acting as portrayed in the movie. Their gesture, their eyes, everything they do in the movie DO support the plausibility of “Source Code”
And…yes…the soundtrack (which was arranged by Chris Bacon–or so I learned)…does give me chill and an eery feeling especially the opening credit of the movie or at least the first 5 minutes of the movie and the time-freeze moment at-the-almost- the end part of the movie. I am so carried away by the scene as well as by the music accompanying it.
I am not in the position of telling (writing) any spoiler of the movie. no, never. The movie should speak of itself. Therefore, I am just recommending anyone interested in ‘Great’ movie to see this for themselves.
I can assure you that it will be worth the wait, worth the time and worth the money. Just go and see it…and prepare yourself to be blown away by arrays of surprises in the most positively reviewed recent sci-fi movie of the 2011 (at least up to May 2011).
Arc de Triomphe ala Kediri alias SGL (Simpang Lima Gumul)
Ibu Hamil Dilarang Nonton "Skyline"
It terribly ruined my day!!! Andai saja saya balik, nonton ‘Skyline’ dulu lalu baru nonton ‘Harry Potter’.
