A Weekend Trip to Daesong-ri (대성리로 주말여행) - part 2

It's the 2nd time for me to take part in a weekend trip with other parents of our kids' kindergarten. It's indeed a good social gathering, not only for the kids, but also for us--adults-parents, too...well..it turned out we also learned a lot....such as:
I didn't know that maemi (매미)--dubbed as the most irritating insects in summer due to their shrieking all day & night long:)--well, thank God, summer's over and they're gone. But, I never thought that their remnants (hahah like crackers)..I mean..they sort of disappeared, gone, vanished, ..and left their dried-shells everywhere.
But the mysterious part was that the shells were still intact in the shape of what they looked like when they're still alive.
Okay..enough...let's go on walking towards the river....only to find...that...
Freya got one maemi with her. Geee....
"Aren't you afraid of it, Frey?"
simply she smiled and took a pose ...and let me take her picture.
Oh, one great thing about this place was that we could just rent a bike or two and get around the area....on bikes.
I do want to go on cycling on a bike and enjoying the beautiful scenery along the Bukhan River.
Yes, bike-lanes were all set up along the river!!!
so irresistible.
