A downloaded picture of the kids from the 'waive and get photographed' screen-camera @ IFC.
It's located at the main atrium of the mall where most people would gather. Right in front of it...above the atrium hung a huge screen that keeps on sending out advertisements. But, it's not the ads that draw people to keep on glued onto the screen, it's the snap-yourself onto the camera and keep the pictures for yourself.
It's not even the rather-awkward-looking virtual-reality gimmick that draw people's attention...But...
THIS. Yes..this postcard-like pictures of ourselves.
People (mostly kids) would gather, run, walk, tag, follow along, wave hands ...bump into one another to get into the box into which a camera would zoom and then then snap! A moment later an IQR code would pop up on the screen for us to capture and save the pictures---if we want it to.
Like this one.
And this is one of the pictures of Eyra and Freya. Gosh..I don't understand what's the fuzz about it in the first place. But, I guess...the fun of chasing the box and making sure that they ARE in the picture...are things that they like about it.
As for me, this is great moment to let the kids roam free after having a bliss at buffet lunch a few hours earlier.
and...surely..this picture is worth-saving.
