Humming Way ( 험민웨이 )

Yup. It is called Humming Way.
First..we did not know this place until we saw the placate on its entrance. I thought that it would be just like any other alley or path leading to any apartments. Well..at a glance..it does have no differences whatsoever. But..upon going into it..we realized that the constructors or..better yet..the one behind this idea...is truly a genius.
Why? Keep on reading...
It is located right in the middle of highways and apartments. Yes..no one would believe that this path with its green bushes and lush green trees is actually a path usually trodden by white/blue collars going to and from work.
It is located right at the exit number 1 of Dongjak Station (Line 4). We were about to go to the Han River when we saw the placate indicating this 'intriguingly' interesting name for a pathway: Humming Way. Really? Not Hemingway? Humming? Why Humming?
As we explored into it, we found a historical explanation perched on one of the wooden placate..indicating that there is nothing special or any other meanings, but the literal meaning  of 'to hum'. People are encouraged to 'hum' songs or rhythm of their favorites while walking along this path...for this path gives tranquility and peacefulness.
See the flyover I was referring to? Yes..that.
And the humming way is specially designed to make people feel that they should feel cheerful every time and every where they are. No Matter What.
We reached the end of the 'Humming Way' path and took a picture as a token of our adventurous afternoon.
The picture does not do justice to the fact that it should be greener and calm than this in the picture.
Anyway..we did enjoy our stroll along the humming way.
