Namsangol Hanok Village <남산골 한옥마을>

Felx, me, Jobir
The ISO (International Students' Organization) organized the whole program. They had  us wait for the entire foreign students who had already signed up for the program of visiting the Namsangol Hanok Village where we can learn directly the festivities during Chuseok in the olden times of Korean life.
At 10 o'clock we were gathering in front of Globee Dorm. After a brief briefing of where to go and what to do during the whole day, as many as 100 foreign students were marching along the HUFS street to take the Seoul Metro tlhat would lead us to 충무로 (Chungmuro) where the Village is located. I took one shot with Felix and Jobir, while other students were waiting inside the station.

Entrance to the Village
After 30 minute ride by the Metro, we were all gathering in front of the Village to take a group picture before entering the park. It turned out that we were free to do and enjoy the whole park until late afternoon. The committee only took us there and let us be there to enjoy the joys.
It turned out to be quite an interesting place to be. Lots of activities to try and taste the old Korean way of life.
Here are the pictures I took upon arriving and a group photo of HUFS foreign students in front of Namsangol Hanok Village.
More stories to come.
