여름학기 수료식 (Summer Term 'Graduation/Completion' Ceremony)

Should I call this a graduation ceremony?
Well, it is not 졸업식 'graduation ceremony', instead, it was called 수료식 'completion ceremony' Although it bears its own problem as to whether there is such a phrase like 'completion ceremony.'
Well, for those who have finished and thus entitled to be graduated from the 1.5 year long course a.k.a. until level 6 out of 6 level..., I can say that it was a graduation ceremony. But, for us, who just finished their 1st up to 5th level, it was just another day in between the terms. The next term is starting next week on Monday, and we just had our ceremony this morning.
It was funny that the teachers wished us a great holiday! Is there such thing as holiday? We barely have enough time to take a breath and relaxed..simply because the next term is just 4 days away:)

As for us, who were just coming to participate in the occasion, it was a good experience since we came to know as how the event was organized.
We got some ideas of what the graduate should talk about in front of the live audience to mark their graduation.
We witnessed some excellent students in respective class received their recognition of being outstanding in the class.
All of those were carried out at the hall.
Then, we moved to our class.
Before coming there, I was helping Ms. Kim (my teacher) to pick some cakes from Paris Baguette. It turned out that she planned to throw us another cake. Only this time, I was the one who chose them. Since I love chocolate, I picked the chocolate one for the class. Then, off she went to pick some salad and garlic bread and also some beverages in the adjacent Family Mart.
Upon arriving in the class, we began our own 'small' ceremony of expressing our feeling and evaluation on the term. We gave Kim seonsaengnim a card full of thank-notes from each of us. It is indeed a rewarding moment, despite the fact that I joined in the class barely 2 weeks before the class ended today:)
I feel like having become one of them. It is a good thing, though.
Oh, there were twelve candles lit up on the cake, and each of us had to blow one by one without having to blow the neighboring candles. Tough but fun to watch as all of us blew them sequentially.
Then, off we went somewhat down into our thoughts as the teacher passing us the results of the examination. Wow...what a nightmarish moment.
We were a bit nervous as to whether we could level up ourselves to higher level. Despite the fact that Reading class is the most difficult one ever, which consequently reflected on the result of our exam.....we all made it to level 4. :)
It was hilarious.
Oh..one more thing, we also got to fill in the questionnaire about the class performance; meaning that we got to give some fair evaluation on individual teacher for this term. Since we are blessed to have such endearing seonsaengnim...we did not look what we have to fill in...since it is all perfectly satisfying.
Upon completing the class' small so-called 'party', off we went to the front yard of the FLEX center where we've been studying. Again, we took some photos to mark the memories we made in the previous term.
Off we went our way while waiving good bye and wishes to see again next week in the new term.
