A family of 6, wait...it's not six....10!!

With Uci coming along, it became 11!!

It's about 5 pm and we were sooooooooo tired. 

The 2nd box of popcorn..the kids ate a loooooooooot of popcorn♡♡♡

Off we went home.

Winter Wonderland

I know it's passed Xmas....and that it's February.😉 But....snow and its charms when it adorned our frontyard a.k.a. parking lot in the apartment did not and never failed to awe me even in its simplicity.  

Like the other night when the snow turned the lot into a winter wonderland...as I hummed Doris Day's tunes^^

Time Museum @ Jeongdongjin

This is NOT an ordinary train. In fact, it is a museum specializing in TIME or watches or anything related with TIME. 

As the name suggests, we could see gee..unbelievably unique watches from around the globe.

I love the "7-Men Clock"!! 

Eyra and Freya received some instructions to find the TREASURES hidden in each compartment of the museum. They loved doing it. 

Expensively unique and rare watches on display.

I just couldn't keep up with the names and designs that they offered. Gee... 

They're simply too MUCH..so much to chew and discern..which made them interesting, though. 

More and more...expensive...watches.. 

Opps..there is a gamelan on display. It's a traditional Javanese musical instrument..which made me to wonder as to how this relates to the TIME-theme museum. Oh, well...

It is called 'gender' (pronounced 근데르 NOT 젠더 as it is written^^). 

All fancy looking antiquities. 

The Titanic's infamous stair cases....^^ and a clock, see that? 

Even the found watches from the Titanic were on display, too. 

More golden-gilded watches...oh nooo....

and..a relief to the eyes.... 

a great way to get away from the golden watches..until... 

We're intrigued by this... 

If you keep looking at this watch, you'll become younger...^^아하!! 

Oh, no..Mama..why did you also want me to take the pose like this? 

1 minute is enough to give hugs to someone we love..each day. 

and..so they did.

Right..time will never return... 

and..then we went out onto the 2nd observation deck ON TOP of the train..to see what's more in store..

A View of Jeongdongjin from Atop A Hill

Jeongdongjin is a small city, relatively unknown until (some say) a drama was shot on location using some of the area's breathtaking seascape and landscape. 

In fact, from most of the tourist spots, we could enjoy both sea and land.

That's why..hiking up to one of the hills seems to be a must-do experience. 

We're at a park located within the vicinity of Sun Cruise Resort where we could see most of the city, with the cruise as the background.

There's even one stern of what-used-to-be another ship..from where we could see Jeongdongjin sea and beyond. 

A sunset would've been nicer... 

but..this would do. Freya....you're there! 

Back onto the park...where the kids bumped into a frozen pond...to their excitement. 

..no matter how hard they tried, they sort of wanting to defrost ...no...slice up the ice...

and...hands statue. 

we had to choice but...to walk..to reach the Jeongdongjin..

yup we got to walk down the hills....phew.... 

We could've just waited for the shuttle bus ...which came only once every hour.

But..let's just go walk down the roads....until we reach the nearest spot to have: lunch and ...then rail bike.

Sun Cruise: Morning Day 1

Though it's winter...and the lawn was not green enough to capture the beauty of the surrounding...we still found it worth-taking a picture of.

A huge 10-story ship..stuck on a cliff. 

A great way to spend a weekend. Oh..our room was on the 4th floor..
