Before & After (My Jogja)

 

This was taken from a window of the car en-route to Tugu. Yup..I was taking a picture of how the street which was usually full of motorcycles looked like at that time.

(Feb. 1st, 2014). 

Oh..the sky was blue...and Tugu Monument was vividly clear in my camera.

then..I found a picture on the internet (liputan 6.com)...about how vividly grey and dusty it was. It's Jogja..covered in volcanic ash from Kelud Volcano (some 300 km away from Jogja). 

I just hope that everything's going back to normal like the picture above. Amin.

Before & After (My Jogja)

I took this picture on Feb. 1st 2014 when I saw my brother in law off at the railway station in Jogjakarta. The sky was blue. 

Then..I found out a picture from the internet about the same place...when volcanic ash spewed from Kelud Volcano (some 300 km away from Jogja) covered all of the city.

Hmmmmm.........I hope everything's back to normal now.

I saw Kediri's Arc de Triomphe again...and....

again and again....

yup, this time..I took this picture while I was in a car circling the roundabout on my way to my uncle's house. 

Lots of people were taking a stroll along the Arc. 

The sign indicating that we could just circle about this monument designed after the famous Paris' Arc de Triomphe, Only this one...is Kediri' style. 

With a perfect blue sky, people were having an on-site picnic to admire this monument.

BUT......

This is what happened after the eruption of Mount Kelud on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, 2014. Volcanic ash, sands, pebbles covered all roads and streets around this monument.
