Kenduri ICC @ Ansan Wa Stadium ep. 3

One of the highlights of the cultural festival during this event was the Reog Show.

Shane...thanks.for taking us around the venue.

It's an up close encounter with the Reog. 

We saw it last week at different occasion and here they were again.^^

Kenduri @ Ansan Wa Stadium ep.2

It's a cultural festival to commemorate the 10th anniversary of ICC ~ Indonesian Community in Corea.

We met lots of acquaintances and friends. ..including my students at UT Korea.

The venue and  the program were like a greet & meet rendezvous sort of thing.

..and here came Hadi a.k.a. Shane, my student who....well...sort of taking care of Eyra when we were there.

As for Shane, ok...it's time for him to.show Eyra around.

With so much to see, eat, and do....we didn't have ample time to even.simmer.the gist of the whole festival.

but...at least we got it all covered....sort of in highlighting or sampling randomly.

Meeting Friends @ LW

What are the chances of meeting or bumping into other Indonesians we know @ Lotte World in Korea? Well, pretty slim, eh? But it did happen to us. 

We're just walking around the theme park when we recognize some familiar faces..and yes..they're Mr. Budi and Mbak Vina's family on a trip to Lotte World.. 

So..why not take pictures together then? 

With this..we said goodbyes and promised to meet again...^^ 

Back to Freya and her cousin..who's a bit exhausted..after a long day walk around the park... 

but..let's sit down and enjoy the night parade... 

People tried their best to secure the very location they could think of... 

to see the whole procession of the parade. Even before the parade even got started..like 30 minutes later on.. 

they just sat down there...talking...anticipating the parade... 

Though of course..for us...we'd seen this a couple of times..but this time's different since we came here to accompany our families' vacation to Seoul. 

hmm..not so clear...too much backlight. 

hmm...that's better. 

but this one's better.

And...with a bang picture in front of this carousel ..we wrapped up our trip to LW.

Seoulland (part 8): 3 Families' Trip

 

We're Indonesian families who happen to live near to each others. We're neighbor connected by subway line 6 in Seoul.:-)

So...this kind of family outing for all of us was a great way to strengthen our relationship. 

The kids loved it, too. 

Well, it's for them, in the first place.
