Sekitar Rumah. . .

Hampir tiap hari hrs lwt eskalator ini jika ke mana-mana. 

Sangat nyaman krn hanya 200 m dr tmpt tggl kita, lngsng bs cabut ke mana pun kita mau. Sampe bandara pun bs jg!!! Apa nggak asik tuh?

En...yg lbh asik lg, bnyk yg ada di sktr sini. E-mart tentu. Baskin ono. Paris B. Welah yo iyo. Walo nggak.ada J.Co...DD bolehlah. Blm.lg pasar....resto-resto...hmmm...

A 2-Hour Visit to Sejongno Branch Immigration Office

Got off at Jonggak station line 1, exit 6...there I was. I was walking down the street towards the Immigration office @ Sejongno. Yes, it's the new location of immigration office that most of foreigners in northern part of Seoul has to go to at least once during their stay in Seoul. 

As for me, after having my passport renewed last week, I got to have it reported to the immigration office. Since one week had already passed since I had my passport renewed, I got to go HERE. 

It's located at the 2nd floor of Seoul Global Center @ downtown Seoul.

I think I kind like it better here than the previous one. It's close to Yongpoong Bookstore. Yes...! 

I got to wait for 82 persons ahead of me...to be served. 

It's Monday and there were lots of people queuing..and since I got to wait for another 2 hours..I might as well spend my waiting time...inside the bookstore. 

So..off I went inside the bookstore while waiting for my line. 

Came at 10.30 and served at around 12.20...yes.. ^^

Not bad. One thing for sure..I got my renewed passport officially reported.^^

School: Back&Forth

We moved to Hwarangdae after a year and a half living at Imundong. The best thing about the new neighborhood is that it caters all the need easily. But, it is surely a bit farther from the kids' school. We thought of having the kids moved their school but...they do not want to. So....

everyday we have to go up and down the deep and long escalator at subway station... 

Then...waiting for the bus....that would take us to their school. The good thing is that we can take any bus since all of them go in the same direction to where the school is. Pretty   comfy, I suppose. 

A bright morning+smile on their face: a great combination to start the day even though it takes 15-20 minutes to school. 

Morning on weekdays are filled with subway --> bus routines.

But, hey...that's FUN.

Angry Bird T-Money for Eyra

Now that we have moved into a new house which is farther away from Eyra's elementary school, we bought her a new T-Money transportation card. Actually, we bought her one last year, but to our dismay simply because of our stupidity & ignorance^^...the supposedly child ticket with its discounted rate...had changed itself into a normal adult-type card. That's why we bought another one. 

Yup...Angry Bird T-card WAS the one Eyra chose from other ranges of available accessory-typed card.

It is so small that I am afraid it is easily overlooked or left-behind. 

So, we might as well have it chained into a   lace. 

We also learned that within 10 days after purchase, we got to have it registered at the T-Money official website to make sure and have it certified that Eyra is indeed a child/teenager eligible to receive a benefit of discounted rate. 

So, WE DID.^^

Eyra is ecstatic..........................

Good Morning, Suray^^

I was on my way to start my activities at the earliest time possible which was around 6 am 

(Thursday, Sept. 27).

The sky was 'cracked' open by the rise of the sun. The warm orange sunlight was reflecting itself into the Han River that morning. The shimmering light somewhat enhanced the silhouette of the dark-grey-looking apartment buildings. The Han river was like a calm rushing flow of water with crystals on its surface.

All of this was happening and flickering right before my eyes while crossing the Han river...

I was so happily blessed that I felt the urge to capture this amazing moment.

It's not everyday that I could see this beautiful grandeur.

For some, it may be just another trivial moment passing by...

BUT...

for me..

It WAS and will always be something special...
