Woori Bank @Ansan & Its Vicinity

I finished checking out my students who'd just finished taking their final exam. Afterwards I was going along with them to celebrate the day. But, first..we dropped by at Woori Bank to pray the afternoon prayer. Since the bank provided a musholla or praying room....there are more and more customers coming.
Apart from that, we could also check the exchange rates on a daily basis...real time.
Yup...this is what the musholla looks like.
Upon entering the musholla, we could see the view of the street and kopiah!!!
Simple praying mats...laid out. But it's nicely rendered.
If we looked out of the window, we'd be able to see the multicultural street below since the praying room is on the 3rd floor if the building.
This is to show how well connected the musholla and the bank area are.
In front of the bank there's a medium-sized open space with an open stage. At that time...there's this Aid for Nepal Concert.
A bit further off....a vividly visual splendor of multicultural street was even more delightful to behold!!!

Our Little Headquarter!!!

This is the facade of our secretariat.
Finally, Indonesian Community in Corea (ICC), Dompet Duafa (literally "Wallet for the Underprivileged"), and our UT Korea (Indonesia Open University in Korea--especially our UT Radio Korea) have officially secured the shared-office in Ansan.
Three of the organizations share the burden of renting this underground room for a meager monthly rent for the sake of our continued efforts for the betterment of our activities in Korea.
Today was the first day that we officially opened up the office. In fact some dignitaries from the Indonesian Embassy were scheduled to officially open the office or..room?^^ so, we decided that we'd better 'beautify' the office...before the ceremony?
Yes, so mas Khoirul, Hadi, and other friends came and lent their hands to prepare for the office. As for us, we're concerned about our little radio station^^
Before VS After.
Yes, the left one was the disheveled tiny room. The right one was the same room after being 'beautified' with the male touches.^^
We did it.
The small hanging flowers that decorate the office.
The brightly lit small room at the center is our UT Radio mini studio.
We gathered to make our first group picture to celebrate our mini studio's initial makeover. Let's hope for the best for our future endeavor via UT Radio Korea.
The whole group picture of ICC after the ceremony.
Oops, the lamp!!!

Sadly Not For You^-^

Yep..I was struggling to find any free Wifi.....:) only to find this eye-catching name for a network: SADLY NOT FOR YOU!!!
Just to have a free wifi, I could just spend 1,000 Won at McDonald for french fries^^ hahaha....of course, I could've just used my data package or 3G..but...heck..I was at IFC..and the only thing that got me thinking was nothing but...free wifi.
hmm come to think of it.....it was not free, after all.
After feeling bloated of not having *enough* lunch, I went to the Food Empire at IFC to meet up with Eunbee.
Since she did not know that we could savor Indonesian fried noodle and nasi goreng (fried rice)...Indonesian style, I asked her if she wanted to give it a try.
and..she was surprised to know that we could taste the 'original' fried rice at this fancy IFC's Food Empire. It means only one thing: we do not need to go as far as Ansan city...to enjoy this meal. It's just 10 minute walk from Youido Station.
Selfie time...to 'arouse' envy to our groups..who are now...counting days to meet up again with us...to enjoy dinner together.
Nasi Goreng in Seoul? why not...!!
this one is available at Food Court @ IFC...so basically-->
It is GLADLY FOR YOU.

@ Smartphone Shop w/ Friends

Friends: me, Nila(?), Ditta, Sofian, Benro.
We're at one of the smartphone shops in Ansan--visiting one of our friends who works part time at the shop. The owner was so nice to let us hang around for a while.
Hmm..what's up with the chair, bro?
A pose ...for a model-to-be? boy band? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ..not in a million years!
It just so happened that one of us was looking for some smartphone. Well, since one of our friends is working there..it would've been a great idea to give it a try...who knows...we might end up getting a good deal plus bonuses.^^
That's what friends are for.

KBS World Radio Indonesia: Nada Sahabat Sejati (part 2)

Lim Jeong Hee was on stage performing two of her famous songs. the title......ehmmm...but it was a good and easy listening song...
DJ Seonhee...."what are you doing over there?"
Oh..wait..is she doing what I am thinking she is?
wow...salute....bravo....hebat....대박!!
oops..such an amateur photographer!!!
At least I got a clearer view of Sunny Hill.
Seen from afar, the people were so excited that even the crowds at the back would not just stay put..they're trying their best to get a glimpse of what the show was about.
The show's over. Me and some of friends and with some of my friend's friends.
