Eyra always makes lots of stuffs out of color clays. Recently, she's  really into MINIATURES.

Yup, she made these mini chocolates....gosh...

And the funny thing was that..she even named it.

It's called Diet Chocolate.

Even, all the wrappings were also meticulously cut to match the chocolate.

The house is full of her works....since she makes literally new stuffs everyday.

But..that's the beauty of it. She finds her own world to enjoy and get herself drawn into.

Eyra's Newest Color Clay Figurines

Every week, there's always something new that my daugher, Eyra, makes. This week, she just made these little cuties!!

It's small, alright. They're so cute though I'm not sure what to call them...

Still wondering how she managed to create these little creatures out of the color clay she became so accustomed to.  Even the small black eyes...and the beaks....and the color rendering she put on the creatures...are enough to keep my jaw dropped.

Yup, that's what Eyra created this week. Way to Go, girl.

Keep on making stuffs that you like.

Gee....Another Tiny Works of Art

Yup....again...I bumped into this at home. Eyra just popped up making these tiny stuffs out of colorclay. It's a make-up desk...complete with its varied cosmetics on it. Gee....I bet she didn't use a magnifying glass when she created this!!!

Yet, the final result: superb.

Today's Menu is. . .

Tuesday is Eyra's color clay class...the time when she always brings home s new works of art she makes at school.

She made this tiny cook with a pan of soup in his hand and....a huge blackboard.

She's so excited retelling what she did in her class while we're having a light dinner nearby. 

Yup...today's menu is!!!!. This is what she created today.

Boy's Shopping Time: Shoes and Batik Scarf (err what??)

 

Doni drove through a village called 'Desa Manding' where the locals are famous for being artisans of leather stuffs from bags, shoes, and any other leather-based handicrafts. And I was so stupid of not knowing this place earlier although I lived in Jogja for more than 10 years. *gee.....*

And..I felt like I found my heaven for shoes. I was crazy for shoes available there. Bought two pairs of them since they're adorably cute and unbelievably inexpensive.  

Bimo helped me with the selections. Two pairs only cost me Rp 200,000 or a mere 20,000 Won. OMG!!!!!!  With the same price, I would only be able to find ......ones.:)

oops..these are not boy's stuffs. But..I bought these silk scarves for souvenirs.

Since they are silk batik at Batik Keris (one of the trusted brand names for batik in Indonesia)...I could only say that they are well-priced. 

Of course, they're seamlessly beautiful.

A Cameraman in The Making

Freya and Eyra were up to something. They brought two medium-sized boxes along with them as I watched them coming home. Then...without taking a rest or anything, they started unfolding gift-wrappings available at home and began cutting them into square shapes. 

They looked so busy. It's not the first time that they do this kind of stuff. 

Then..I noticed that they glued the fancy paper on the box so as to cover it all over. Okay..I still had no idea of what they were about to 'create'. 

Freya, too, was preoccupied with her own!

It looks like they were making the same 'thing' 

oh....what's the paper cup doing on the one end of the box? They kinda attached it onto it and wait...I guess..I knew what they were up to. 

They made a camcorder.!! They learned it at school and even Mr. Maker at Cbeebies made one, too. 

Even, there is a handle which makes it easier to hold. Hand-held camera.

Out of ordinary stuffs found at home, they made a camcorder...a big one....

Wait, they made two: one for each.

Looks like 'summer holiday' gave them an urge to keep themselves busy.
