Deliriously Sweet Strawberries!!!

Santa and Redbell strawberries. 

Yes..I got a chance to visit the very place where these sparking sweet strawberries are grown or created. 

I did not know that strawberries could be this dazzling. 

Of course, we got a chance to meet the pioneers who managed to 'bring' these strawberries into the market. 

and..the best part was when we got a chance to visit how this strawberry research center did their magic. 

attentively we listened to every explanation.... 

as for me...while listening...I wouldn't miss a chance to take some snaps here and there. 

winter snap does not hinder the scientists from 'creating' and 'harvesting' the strawberries. 

Those vinyl houses warmed up the temperature in such a way that Santa strawberries are possible to be enjoyed during winter...in fact it is in winter that strawberries are in their highest degree of sweetness.

The Only Pictures I took from the Hotel

yup..a rather peculiar ornament that caught my attention in a cafe inside a hotel where I stayed in Daegu. 

We went home after ....well..3차...4차...gee...what a fulfilling night.... 

and...the day I got to check out of the hotel..I almost forgot that I still had some stuffs in the room.

and..rushed back to get them..and took a snap of this picture.

Youido @ Night from Afar

I was ready to go home from work. Yup, it's 5 pm, but since it's winter...the sun's down early and the sky's bright with lights in winter.

My fave mall (IFC Mall) was visible..the tallest building. But, of course, it's just the location..not all of them is the mall. wait..what am I talking about? 

ok..I just want to remember the recollections I had when I took these pictures. 

The lights on on those office buildings. Time to go home.

One 포장마자 or street vendor (a colorful tent) is visible. 

The trees-with-leaves dotted the streets. 

and..I was on my way to enter the 국회의사당역 the National Assembly Station (line 9) ..the very station I use whenever I go to work.

Arirang Concert (part 2)

Some of the audiences were ushered onto the stage...and ....opps..I was about to hide myself when..somebody grabbed my shoulder... 

okay...let's take a pic before getting on the stage... 

and...me ..on the stage...with my camera on hands...clicking on it.... 

and got a chance to get up close to the singers....while chanting the Arirang song. 

now...back again into my seat....and witnessing the last hurrah presentation from them.

I know that the kids must've been restless during the whole show as they may not understand what they're watching. But, at least, it was something different from what they usually encounter. It's more like a cultural journey for them. 

But...with almost 2-hour show ...I am sure that Arirang could now ring the bell into their eardrum and memories.:-)
