Dine out....Lunch Out...

It's not lunch.definitely not. But...it's just a summer delight we had at Keywest Cafe.

Mango patpingsu. 8,000 won. Expensive for a small treat like this. It could've been better, though with some additional fruits. 

Anyway...a good treat to.chill out.from the heat outside.^^

Wachid...my colleague who's been in Seoul for 6 months yet never met before....finally managed to find time to meet me.ㅋㅋ

We had dinner at Misoya restaurant--one of our recommended restaurants in Korea.

As usual ...albab jongsik 알밥정식.my favorite set of menu whenever I visit the restaurant....hmm complete with s small bowl of udong for 8,000 won.

Yup...it's pretty much what I had imagined.

Oh....the sushi is also a complementary.

Wait...what's this? Oh Eyra, too, was having an afternoon lunch...at  a cafe. Randomly...after finishing her English class, she's prone to take other stuffs.

Dine out

We're having a dine out with our Malaysian friends...mb Ummu and her husband..mas Ahmad. That's how we call them.

Same university. Same neighborhood. And other sameness...^^

we meet occasionally. ..and today we decided to have a dine out together.

Mbak Ummu...berpose bersama keluarga kami. Tentu sj ada Darda dan Dawud....her sons.

semoga menjadi kenangan manis.

it's been such a long time since I carried a baby in my arms...^^

We're having a dinner at a Japanese bistro restaurant nearby.

Along with mas Admad and mbak Ummi, our Malaysian friends...who came along with their adorably cute 10-month old baby...named Dawud. 

I couldn't help myself from not trying to play with him. Even my daughter, Freya, never stopped trying to put her arms around him. 

Yes...Dawud cheered up and enlivened up our dine-out atmosphere.

Saturday night...we dined out at the nearest Japanese restaurant that we love...Misoya.

I love the 알밥정식 or the set menu of albab...^^

Complete with a bowl of udon and sushi...that I can't eat^^ well, because my daughter ate them. ㅋㅋㅋ 

Combined with a full set of fish nugget....

voila.....our weekend's diner.

Misoya

A Japanese restaurant chain in Korea. Though it is a Japanese restaurant, its food are mainly served with Korean taste: I mean..the taste suits the palate of Koreans. So, it's a kind of fusion restaurant, I guess. 

We dined out there to have a different atmosphere. It's just 10 minute walk from home and not that far in our standard.^^esp. for the kids. 

Of course, we could only ordered salad, odong, fish nugget: for the kids 

and albab 알밥 for me. kimchi, kim, cucumber, sesame, carrots all shredded and put them on top of warm rice.... 

They just had their wasabi...and they just couldn't get the sensation off their tongue!

Now you know, kiddos.
