Bye-Bye Jeongdongjin!!!

January 7, 2015: Our Holiday Ended...for the time being.

We got to get back to Seoul. 

The Jeongdongjin Train Station is located right next to the beautiful beach...and this is what makes it a frequently visited spot along the Easter Coast of Korea.

and..don't forget..it's a great place to enjoy the sunrise.

We're ready to board the 5 pm Seoul-bound train. 

But..first...a picture would be a good way to give it a wrap...^^ 

Oh, since it departed from Jeongdongjin..and it's on weekdays...we're sort of ..well..lucky to have most of the seats..mostly for us...^^

A 360 Degree SKY Lounge

Mango Juice, Hot Chocolate & A Slice of Cheese Cake!

That's the price we got to pay for....to sit on one of the coaches at this restaurant.^^ㅋㅋㅋ 

It's like being on real cruise ship...^^ with the ship's looking out towards the open sea...hmm..it's a voyage.

We're @ the 360 degree restaurant which keeps on rotating ....on the 10th floor of Sun Cruise Ship. 

A different experience in itself, I admit. 

Overlooking the long stretch of white sandy beach down there ..Jeongdongjin. 

or...overlooking the open sea... 

Yup, it's pretty much what the restaurant offers to its guests. 

I'd recommend a daylight visit which would give us a great view...compared to the night time. But, of course, in night time..we could enjoy the lounge music..LIVE. 

Anyway...we just wanted to spend .1.5 hour after checking out...before going back to Seoul. 

Alright... 

A different experience compared to the one we had over Han River in Seoul.

A blue sea and a vast horizon as the backdrop... 

I guess..summer would be a good time to be IN this place. 

It's not full when we're there...^^ ..the sky lounge was for us...^^

C'mon...it's TUESDAY!!! and we're ON vacation. What a LIFE!!

The Second Morning & Sun Rise @ Sun Cruise Resort

 

It's 7.46 and the sun's about to rise....we climbed up to the observation deck.only to find that we ended up on the wrong section of the deck...but luckily it's way higher..^^ 

Other guests were seen on that green field...just two floor below us.. 

and..the sun did rise...^^January 5, 2015.

It's gleaming ....and shyly shining through the clouds... 

Chattering and Clicking Sounds....sort of disrupted the serenity...^^ 

Let's get away for a while..from the crowds... 

just doing my job... 

and this one's too. I am NOT endorsing anyone to take this kind of shots..ever.:)

Let's stick to the usual one... 

The upper observation deck..empty..no one's there..coz it's so darn* cold... 

Okay..thank God, we'd enjoyed the sunrise...one day earlier...

since it's the coldest and windy morning ever!! 

so, let's go back inside the ship... 

and...look...everyone's gone!! I guess the windy morning sort of pushed the flocks back into their rooms.

..of which we never got bored of. Had we been, we'd stopped pressing the button of the camera and stopped taking pictures of this same (yet, perfect) evening....from within the comfort of our junior suite. 

hmm..what a good view out there. Looked gloomy, yes...., YET...it's just simply...chillingly cool.

but..then...the moon's shining.... 

The night's crawling in....with a moon over the hills...@ Jeongdongjin.. 

It's the same view...indeed, but with a twist.

On the Rooftop of Time Museum ~~~~>>> Rail Bike Tour

We're on the top of the museum...looking out onto the vast open East Sea as well as the Sun Cruise landmark beyond. What a great day...indeed. Freya was busy trying to ring the hanging bells. 

Yup..this is pretty much what it looked like from the rooftop. A rail way just next to the seashore..

.what a sight. 

Bell of Hope...as it was written. And...once again...those are the museum-turned train compartment.

oh..right..the rail bike tour. We got only 5 minutes to run from the museum to the starting point of the rail bike tour. phew.... 

But we managed to arrive..just in time before the pre-booked tour started. 

The 5.7 km track...seemed to be a good way to spend an afternoon. 

Waiting for our bike ...to ride back into the starting point.  

Barbed wires were everywhere. Yup..it's not far from North Korea....so they said.

and..then..here we go again./...pedaling our bike.....

We were not allowed to get too close with other bikes...we got to make sure that a minimum 20-meter distance was maintained so as to avoid any accident. 

Another rail bike was about to pass us by as we're going back.  

Back to where we started.
