What could be better than having a splash of tropical fruit cocktail in summer? 

After a looong day work of shopping for our mini studio, preparing our mini studio, setting up the studio, and of course...enjoying the concert, we finally managed to book the terrace section of Warung Kita--Indonesian restaurant in Ansan. 

With all of the DJs of UT Radio Korea, we're having a great time ..celebrating what we achieved today.

Craving for Food: Way 2 Go in Kediri (J.Co-like^^ Donuts and Lombok Ijo)

Staying in Kediri for one week with my family back home was one of the memorable highlights of my 3-week vacation. Okay...dine-out was also one of the daily staples we had:_) hahaha....yes, I did gain weight. but..let's not talk about that. 

Here it is:  I was flabbergasted to find this donuts store back home. This one really resembles J.Co Donuts...to the bone??not quite. J.Co is still the BEST.

But this one was quite okay. The price was NOT, definitely, for with quite the same price...I could get J.Co. (which is once again...waaay much better).

but wait...the picture tells me that the kids loved these ones, too.

I never thought that Lombok Ijo Restaurant also opens its branch in Kediri. What a treat.

Since I really wanted to go to this restaurant, we might as well give it a try.

The restaurant that serves traditional Indonesian food (with endless arrays of sambal) was sure to have my attention.

My wife and my Mom really loved the food. 

Smile, Mom. I am glad to have made the decision to come and dine in this restaurant.

Indonesian Restaurant in Ansan

Another entry about Ansan town.
It was my first time to Ansan.
The first impression was that....it was not like being in Seoul where Koreans dot the place.
This place felt different.

The first notion and 'sight and sound' that came to my mind was that....it was more like in international melting pot where lots of foreigners just mingled and got in touch with one another freely. The streets were dotted with lots of nationalities.
....
I was greeted by a person who handed me a brochure about Indonesian restaurant called ' Prambanan' I bet he judged from my looks that I would definitely be Indonesian. And He got me right.
After all...the reason as to why I came to Ansan was to find an Indonesian restaurant to have some back home dishes..that I miss.
Since I am a vegetarian..I was thinking of eating tempe or tahu (a kind of tofu)...and lots of veggies. It served me right. I got some nasi kuning.( the story was posted on my previous entry).


I found the street a bit dirty in Ansan.....
It's a good thing that the sky was blue and the temperature being cold......those two things had somewhat helped me disregard the a bit nuisance of having to see not-that-clean street. Well, it was comparatively clean but not that clean as the one I used to see in downtown Seoul. Anyway...this is another story.
