I didn't know...was it just me who thought of this cloud formation as beautiful.^^

As I posted it on my Instagram....some commented it as being scary....dreadful....fearsome....

but that's completely different from wjat I thought the first time I.saw it. It's simply stunning and stellar^^

UNBELIEVABLY Colorful Underwater World

Fish tank at our eye-level to enjoy...

jelly fish tube...which turned out to be more than just a tube...since

it changes colors every second!

.....enough to awe any first timer...

..even a simple fish tank is awesome enough to behold!

♡not to mention other strange-looking sea creatures...like this upside-down jellyfish.

...or....being able to take an underwater picture with a huge whale swimming by...

hmm....all of a sudden....there's an ad popping out of nowhere ㅋㅋㅋ

진짜로. ..즐거운 하루였다.

So...girls...You got what you wanted, right?

On The Way Home

It's hot. And...as usual I take this path... 

..from work to home.

...and this thirst-quenching mango juice helped me through the day.^^ 

....and still had enough time to stop to admire nature around me

Mango and Peach Ice Flakes

At around 3.30 pm...I guess..we're going to the nearest cafe by taking the sub.

It's eerily serene.

Long story short...we endep up having our mango and peach ice flakes at YP cafe.

It's still a long holiday or golden holiday in Korea....a great time to chill out.

With the increasing temperature. ...we're taking an adventure of "dipping" ourselves into ice flakes.

Hmmm..yummy.

Patpingsu + Homework

Patpingsu (팥빙수) is accompanying Eyra in doing her homework. 

The other day I picked her up from school and since it was a bit hot, we decided to have patpingsu at Paris Baguette, near our home. While waiting for the ice to be served, Eyra took out her homework..and began doing it right there on the spot. 

So, we ended up spending an hour to 'indulge' ourselves into the freshness of patpingsu. We have this fruit patpingsu with pat (red beans paste). 

In less than an hour, she finally did her homework. 

Now, let's start digging in, Eyra.

You deserved it.

Gyeongju Summer Trip (Part 1)

Finally, the day we took the train (this one is Saemaueul train) taking us to Gyeongju had arrived. We boarded the train in the morning at 9.40 that would take us to Dongdaegu station before we transfer to Mugunghwa train (a local train) taking us to Gyeongju.

It's the air-conditioned coach that lullaby-ed them to sleep. Well..it's a 3-hour trip and after tiring themselves with snacks and sight-seeing..it's time for them to 'sleep'.

As for me, what would a trip be without letting my fingers and camera do the job of capturing the blurring images of the scenery along the way.

Summer, yup...we went on a holiday summer to Gyeongju..which to my friends' surprise..they asked me as to why we went there....since that's one of the hottest place in Korea to be..during summer.

But...I did not see that coming really. So..let's just enjoy the moment..and for the time being...seeing the 'outside' world through the train window inside the air-conditioned coach somewhat 'blinded' me of what's coming ahead...^^

Even..the place underneath this KTX-railway seemed a cool thing to capture into my camera.

And..along with the vast green rice field.....the vinyl-housed farms....the mountains...all of them seemed to be so tenderly cool...in summer.

Once again...it's all because ..everything was seen and enjoyed through the windows of the train we boarded to Gyeongju.

Creeks...small paths...bushes....hilly villages...houses that looked like dots on the slopes of the mountains...

were all...once again...cool to look at even in the 'Korean' summer.

*once again..thanks to the comfort of train window that separated us from the direct 'impact' of heat in the summer.:)

Summer Heat? What Should We Do?

The sky's grey. No sun's shining. Yet, it was hot. Summer IS here. Indeed 'IT' is here. sure the trees do look green in summer. Well..not this green..wish it were greener, but..it was really hot. The trees and leaves right next to our window (from our 2nd fl. apt.) does not do anything 'good' (yet?) in whisking away the 'heat'.  

Then...it was drizzling, raining, for a while. Yet..the rain only tumultuously dampened the already suffocating air.....

opening up the whole windows did not do any good, as it turned out... 

the air was so stuffy..suffocating...well of course, it was still bearable...

I almost liked...being able to see and feel the color of the air: it was 'GREY':) 

Hot outside? well...as long as the kids were just fine, I am fine with that.

As long as Eyra and Freya were having a good time in summer vacation, I am fine with that.

Though they mostly stay indoor...it's fine.
