Dilapidated Train @ Children Grand Park

It's the first time ever we went to Children Grand Park via its rear entrance. We usually visit this place through the main gate, so when we went there and found out that the rear entrance offered something else...I felt elated. 

One of the things was that there was this dilapidated (well, not really) or worn out train used in the 1950's. The fact that the train (locomotive and its compartments) is placed just like that...seemed to be unbelievable. The corroded machine due to the changing weather must have taken effect onto it, though. 

well, ..that's what makes it even more tempting to look at.  

What a great way to look at this old train, right? 

The old and worn out train seemed too cool to overlook. 

so. I dared myself to get on top of it.

I didn't see any sign of 'no trespassing' or any sort of warning..so I might as well get on it.^^ oops. 

I love trains so much that I couldn't help myself not to jump and sit on it:)

A Deserted Railway @ our Backyard

Yep..right @ our backyard...just a two-minute walk from our apartment, we could end up finding this deserted railway. I remembered vividly the sound of train passing by this track when I first came to Korea back in 2002. At that time I was also living at the same apartment so...when I found out that this track is deserted..I was like..Whoa..what happened to the tracks?

So...we went there and found ourselves playing along the track...without any fear of any incoming trains...^^

Summer is hot, indeed. But...once we could make the best of it...

we could end up having the best of summer, yet.

Look how green the surrounding....:^^

Red Cho-Cho Train @ Suwon Haenggung

It was after lunch time.
Since we had about 30 minutes or so to stroll around the area before continuing our journey, I asked Emmi to take a look at the area we did not yet cover in the first place.

Gosh, we wished that we had gone this earlier since we found this tourist-train that would take us for a 20-minute ride around the hill to see the whole city of Suwon from up above. Well, we had barely 15 minutes left before departure. So, it was unfortunate that we could not take a ride on the red train. Emmi, especially, was a bit sad since--judging from the look on her face--she really wanted to take a ride on it. Instead, I just asked her to sit on a seat of the train for a pose. It did work on her, for a change.^^
