Night Biking + Ice Cream!

Since it's a bit cool and breezy....and since I got some errands to do, I was thinking of going on a bike.

But....Freya insisted on going along with me.Well, we might as well take a night biking then.

The bike line in our neighborhood was just completed a few months ago. The idea of cherishing the moment came along as we were passing it through.

Freya did enjoy the time we spent biking. Oh....actually she's sitting on the front while I was pedalling the bike. She got numb but enjoyed it anyway.

. . What's a better way to end our journey? Ice cream.scooping.!!!

Right. . . Cookie choco plus green tea choco...

. .perfected the night.^^

A Dessert

Three cups of ice cream wrapped up our lunch ... after we visited our friends' house.

New York cheese ice cream...green tea...and Alfonso Mango...

yup...three cups+stories to share.

Home-made Ice Cream & Apple Pie!!!!!

Mama has always been creative in making us a forever captive and being captured by our lust for craving, well..and why is that? Simply by shoveling us irresistible ice cream and apple pie like this, for instance. One thing for sure, though, it's yummier.  

Orea-flavored and strawberry-flavored ice cream is mine and the kids's favorite, respectively. And since summer is on, it's hard to keep a promise of diet or refraining from NOT eating these. 

And what about these ones? These are apple pie!!! Yes, she baked her own apple pie. 

And that adds to my surmounting fear of not being able to reduce my intake of sugar^^

Oh, what the heck..I once said.
oh, no..not again. But, then ..she reassured that it may be different from the ones being sold at large in any bakery shoppe. 

But, thank you, Mama..for making these delicacies at the comfort of home.

Home-Made ICE CREAM.......Yippey!

Who doesn't love ice cream? Some don't !! But, we do, especially the kids. Wonder if any kids out there are not fond of 'devouring' the melting sensation of ice cream.

Okay...the thing was that...we could spent #$^%^***Won for ice cream, especially after the BR Ice Cream is just right around the corner. 

So...the kids' Mom decided to dare herself to make ice cream at home.

Without having to worry anymore about lecithin or any other non-halal ingredients that might (who knows) be incorporated into ice cream on the market, we could simply say that finally we could have our ice cream at home. 

And..it's simply ...freshly...affordable one!

Any flavor..all kinds of flavor...we got it. It's green tea. So far, we've tried making Oreo ice cream, chocolate ice cream, & blueberry ice cream. More flavors to come....

Yes..it's summer. 

And 'devouring' ourselves into ice cream seems to be one of the escapism in itself. 

*oh, I heard that Cold Stone Ice Cream is opening up its store....near our neighborhood.....

oh...no...oh no the temptation!!!!

Hurrah ....I got 100 points!!!

받아쓰기 or dictation and spelling class is on Thursdays. Eyra always tries her best to get the best of all feats. I know that it is difficult for her to learn Hangeul and the language as well. But...she does her best to follow the classes... 

As a token of appreciation for her ceaseless effort of learning Korean language, I took her to take one of the ice creams she likes. Since Baskin and Robbins is only 1 minute away from home... 

there she goes. Freya, too. 

I think they enjoyed having a great time of being with their parents, esp. me who's been busy as always. 

Today is my last day of classes in 2nd semester.

What a feeling.^^

Alhamdulillah that it's going to be over soon and long summer break is on the way.

Weekend Outing: Kimbab+Ice Cream

Outing? well, sort of. Outing within an indoor food court. It was drizzling or prolonged downpour during weekend. So, as we'd decided to go out...we could not just stay home. After all the kids wanted to buy some books. 

Off we went to Kyobo bookstore and stayed there for hours that dinner time had almost passed us by. So, the only option was to have on-the-spot dinner.

And...since not many that we could eat..., we decided to have some vegetables kimbab that my kids happen to love and some deolseot bibimbap (야채 돌솥비빔밥) *unseen in the picture.

What could be more endearing than having BR ice cream as dessert. 

The Double-Up package did benefit some ice cream enthusiasts.

"Hey, gals...are you forgetting something? Daddy wants to have some, too!!!!!!"
