Martabak (Indian Pancake) & Bruschetta

Mama made an Indian pancake we call 'Martabak' in Indonesian. This one's full of cheddar cheese with chocolate sprinkles.  

Yes..we love martabak, especially in a chilly and cold weather like this. 

Since it's home-made, for sure we could add as much cheese as we wanted to. 

And bruschetta, too, Since we made it at home, we could give any topping we wanted to. 

A good midnight snack.^^

Home-Made Martabak!!!

Martabak: Indonesian (or was it India) original cakes. Well, I am not sure. But we used to have this cakes back home in Indonesia. There are two kinds of martabak. First, veggie+meat filled ones, and the other: sweet martabak (since it is chocolate+cheese,+sprinkles-filled one). 

Kids love martabak. Can we find one in Korea? Of course, no. So, the only way to have this delicacy is to bake it at home a.k.a. making it ourselves. 

Well, their Mom does it.  

cheese and colored sprinkles-filled martabaks is the girls' favorite. 

We had it as one of the iftar menu during Ramadan the other day.
