The kid's favorite channel, Cbeebies Channel is now 'congratulating' and/or 'celebrating' the Hari Raya Idul Fitri. 

One Month Long Fasting Month 'Ramadan' is over.

And now....it's Hari Raya...

Little Ms. Makers & Their Creativity

The Cbeebies' Mr. Maker Series is one of the shows that the kids love to see. It kind of 'ignite' and 'spark' their idea either to follow the footstep of Mr. Maker or just to plainly create something new out of creativity. Today, they looked so busy making stuffs out of paper they cut into pieces, preceded by water-coloring activity. 

As I got closer to take a look at what they're making..."Oh, I see. Eyra is making a family of dolphins." 

As for Freya, she's making a family of clown fish. ^^.

Wow..what a cool way to make the best use of all the scraps and unused paper at home. 

Though it may look so simple, they had a great time making them together--> 

something that I hope they will keep on sharing.

Cute Aliens Attack!!

Thanks to CBeebies' Mr. Maker...kids always have time to do during summer break. 

The other day they watched how they could make aliens out of stuffs we can buy at Morning Glory store.  ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Some fluffy balls, rolling eyes, magnets, golden ropes, and glues. 

It's a great way to spend an afternoon with the kids. Along with their friends, Freya and Eyra made cute aliens out of these 'ingredients":) And to make it more interesting, they put some magnet underneath the aliens so as to be able to move them around on a thin flat surface.

The sparkling features and different colors of the aliens portray how colorful the kids' mind and thought are.

Once again...one summer afternoon well spent.

Eyra's Reading Activities @ Modoo Children Library

Freya sticks her tongue imitating what the dog (in the book she's reading) is doing. Twice a week she comes to the Modoo library where she has someone reads her any books she can choose from the collection. 

With one of the tutors in the library. I am glad to know that Freya finds library being one of the 'to-be'places she wants to go to. 

Actually..this is a picture of hers that is hung on the library bulletin board of a weekly activity. Since we don't have a copy of it, we might as well take a snapshot of it.  

Freya now speaks three languages wait...4 languages...without realizing it. Indonesian, English, Javanese, and Korean. 

But...now she speaks Korean more than the other three......ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Well, she is exposed to Korean more than the other three after all.

She literally spends 6 hours a day in kindergarten, 1 or 2 hours at the library and...not to mention the whole TV programs which mostly in Korean, 

except Cbeebies (BBC for Children) that she loves (still) to watch on a daily basis.
