Biking @ Han River Bank, Ttukseom Resort

We always had plans prepared to do..especially when our wife's sisters' family were here in Seoul. 

Then..what about taking them to Han River to sample the taste of what it would be like..biking near Han River....just like we did a couple of times before.

Razqa, of course, was excited to know that he could ride a bike along with his sisters. 

The weather's nice...and the sun's about to set...which gave a reflection over Han River a different angle to devour. 

But, of course...we're too busy to notice that, eh? 

With each of them got their own rented bike... 

we're more than ready to explore the river bank... 

or just..chilling out under the bridge over us.. 

I bet..not many people were there considering the time... 

but..with the tandem bike like this, tante and bude could not just resist the temptation of enjoying a new way of seeing Seoul in different perspective.. 

As for Eyra, the idea of biking (again) was intriguing enough... 

that..even a beautiful sunset was almost unnoticeable ...for them. Or, was it just me? 

It passed 6 pm and yet..we're not yet ..done. In fact...we rode along the further down part of the resort. 

As for me..nothing to do but...tagging along behind them..and spotted a flock of birds like this... 

or..following where Eyra went around, like climbing up this ship-shaped playground. 

or this shaky-wiggle-along ride. 

and now..it's really getting dark...the lights on..and not even a clue as when they'd wanted to stop riding the bikes. 

Tante Yuni was like a nanny who had to take care of three children on their first bike night out.

It was fun, eh?

Bike Riding in the Afternoon (part 2)

Freya can ride a bike....eventually.^^ 

The best part of it all is that they can now ride a bike hassle-free. It used to be that we got to keep up or slow down a bit ...pacing up with Freya ..when she were yet able to bike.^^ 

I guess..we don't need those little balancing wheels anymore. 

The bike lane and walking course are separated so people could freely enjoy their leisure time. This is, I think...one of the best public facilities that a city could offer to its dwellers. 

Keep on riding. With a facility like this, we couldn't ask for more. 

It's like a heaven for bike riders.^^

Bike Riding in the Afternoon (part 1)

A week would not be complete without 1-hour bike riding around the neighborhood, especially when the weather's this incredibly great! 

The bike line provided by Seoul City along the streams, rivers across the city really help the city dwellers to enjoy a leisure time. 

We could simply walk or take a bike and then take a rest in some benches along the way.

I wonder what they're sort of discussing.

Another Adventurous Ride On Bike

Yeaach...15 km and 30 km in total....away from home by bike!! what a treat. I love biking now. I got to...since it's a great way to enjoy Seoul while I have time. It's weekend and what could be better way to spend the time? 

Just finished from school and ...to get rid of my strenuous brain-activity...I just got myself on my bike and off me go....venturing off. 

Nowon-gu turns out to be a great place to live. I mean...it does offer me a chance to beat the off-beat tracks that I dared only dreamed of when I was still at my previous neighborhood.  

A great place to live, eh? hmm...well..yes. I mean...despite its location on the northeastern part of Seoul outskirts, I find it an ideal place to live. But wait...don't you see the chimneys, Suray/ what about it? yes..at first, I was a bit shocked to find out that there are numerous chimneys sprung out of the apartment complex. Does it mean they are active factories? hmm I am not sure...but even if they are...

I don't really care since....

even bird like this one...a huge one..could just easily live and roam free at the nearby streams adjacent to the factories I am referring to.

So? It only means one thing that the environment is safe and healthy enough to live in. Right? 

This is exactly the very stream on which side I was biking along.  

And...da..daa......I finally encountered the active factory..I'm not sure what...I am really lost for words. Could they be an electric plant or some sort of waste-management facility in the city? Gee..I didn't know. I think I should've checked on it.

But..that's not the thing.. 

..the fact that wild yellow flowers I encountered do + indeed healthily bloomed in the midst of summer next to the plant...only confirmed my notion of this place being an awesome place to live--comparing it with others, of course.

And what better way to' immortalize' yourself than...by taking a selfie.:)

Again and again..I felt like I was already in the game...by drenching myself in the midst of flowers like that. Yep, I literally plunged myself into the middle of the flowers to take this picture.

Biking for 15 km turned me into an environment-activity-escapee. 

Before long, I felt kind of exhausted of biking and then ..letting myself off at the nearby outdoor gym...where I tried some stuffs..which turned out to be my favorite past-time hangout.
