It cheered me up on my way to the dentist in a cold winter morning.

Winter Caps!!!

Back from school.....Went directly to Homeplus.....to buy winter caps. Well..she had one or two already....but....

....the problem is that we CAN'T find themㅋㅋㅋand the quickest solution would be.....buying a new one! Though....well...it's not that cheap. But....it's  필수야..필수!!!

Got one she liked.

Bright, Yet...Cold!

 

The bright daylight with clear blue sky did not necessarily mean that I could run about or walk about gaily. Nope. 

It's winter and all of the precautionary peripheral winter outfits were all that mattered. 

Blue as it may be...... colorful sky in a bright day as it turned out to be...

did not go along with the black masker I was wearing...to help me feel warm; to help me breathe in the midst of the chilling wind-blowing afternoon..especially when I got to walk across the park with gust of wind thrusting against your face....

야채라면 on New Year's Eve 2014

It's about midnight the shifting from 2013 to 2014. 

And...with the Google Doodle that looks to cute...especially with the anticipating number 4 to join in the party...I had a special menu for tonight: vegetable ramyeon. 

I wouldn't have been so eager to have this, had I not seen the ad which was so hilariously captivating. I mean...just look at it and the sheer simplicity and the mimic of the actors are really priceless.

Got to Go On Air nomatterwhatttttttt

 Feeling bloated....got no options but to go on air...with DJ Seonhee. 

Yes..thanks to the selfie....now we're captured somewhat bloated. 

me, especially since I was having a terrible cold during which. 

oh, ibu Kim was busy preparing some stuffs prior to broadcasting. 

Got to put things back to where they belong.

That's what I do.

These Three Kids Knew How To Party!!!

First, they couldn't wait to wait in line to be seated for pizza!! 

Even after having been seated, they just couldn't be patient enough to wait...for the pizza to come!  

and the BIG meal just arrived..not a minute too soon!  

what? they wanted to have some cake after 'monstrously' had two large pizza party? 

and now what? they even put on some head-bands or head accessories and even some cocky-looking green glasses? 

Like this????? 

Even after arriving at home, they just couldn't wait to blow the candles put on top of the cake we just had. 

Though none of them was celebrating any B'day or anything. 

But..for the sake of happiness and being together...

they just knew how to kick the party started..at least in their own realm of kid's world.

now, Freya turned herself into a loop hopper.  

and then...her sister and Ghazy were playing some dices, marbles. 

put them on the floor..and yes..it's winter.but that's okay since we're indoor. 

oh, Freya just joined in the game. 

then the trio got along well.

An Afternoon Visit to Sungkyunkwan University

 

Got an appointment at 3 pm with two sonsaengnim I know of from Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul. Got to be there with the kids as they would be the subject of photo session for our project. 

Well, this university is dubbed to be the oldest higher education in Korea since Joseon Dynasty back in the 15th Century...so no wonder that there were some historical relics still intact spread around the campus. 

As we walked along the campus lot, kids did not stand to trample on the freshly and naturally laid out snow on the ground next to the historical building--of which I should've known what. 

Just look at the bright colors they make!

What a perfect combination of winter colors!!! 

sometimes, I never quite understand why they're easily so tempted to get succumbed by the enticing power of snow~!!!!!! 

okay, let's go on ...kiddos!!!!!

we got lots of things to do.

En-Route To Anguk Station

We're on our way back home after watching the Arirang Concert.

Since we avoided having to walk along the busy street, we chose to walk through the alley right behind the museum of contemporary art.

The decision could not have been better. 

Kids encountered endless sights to see and even touch.

Like this huge Teddy Bear..sitting next to a restaurant. 

Or some penguins walking pass the cafe. 

oh, the fun part was that even they had a cup with them. 

As for us, the chance to go through an olden time alley full of galleries and cafes..with modern Seoul at the backdrop. 

Lina and Norwegia (my former students who happen to be in Seoul ..studying) were also having a good evening hangout, too, apparently. 

then..off we need to go pass the walk circling the museum complex. Putra, my other friend, was escorting mbak Dian's Mom along with the kids. 

As for the ladies, they're strolling leisurely at the back...chattering to ward off the cold, apparently. mm, who knows...
