What a night view. I was biking along the creek near our house...and...

..what a good time I had.

The bridge looked darn pretty.

The reflection on the surface of the water soothed my eyes...

Another day well spent...with my bike.

자전거를 타보니.... (part 3)

Phew....건국대학교까지 도차했다. 보통 7호선을 타고 갔는데...이번 기회에는 그냥 자전거를 탔다.

좋은 날씨에다가 건대입구역 근처에 있는 모습까지 볼 수 있어 신기했다.

외국인 눈으로 본다면...모든것이 늘 색다르게 여길 수 있단 말아다.

참으로. ...괜찮아. 물론 단 대에서 볼 수 있는 동네이지만....자전거로 숨을 수 없을 정도로 여기까지 와 보니까. ...

평범한 거리도....사진으로 찍을 만한 풍경이 될 수 있다.

자전거를 타 보니.... (part 2)

"아름다움을 간직한 도시 풍경을 색다르게 볼 수 있네요"라는 느낌이 저절로 나왔다.

아마도 이러한 모습을 어디서나 볼 수 있는데. ..거의 3시간 동안 자전거를 탔기 때문에. ...민감하게 하늘을 보고...감탄을 할 수밖에 없었다.

어디냐하면...여기는 바로 어린이 대공원이다.

처음으로 여기까지 자전거를 타고 와 보니까 참 뿌듯 뿌듯^^

Oops...스마트폰을 주머니에 넣으려고 했는데. ..몰라보게 찍은 거예요. ...진짜..이거 뭔데^~^

Walking through A Creek Near Home

It's early in the morning when I decided to take a stroll along the creek just around the corner of where I live.  

A river runs through it...A creek runs through it. Equipped with a jogging track, this is a good way to spend some time enjoying the spare time. 

Apartments dotted either side of the creek which only emphasizes the urban-feel of the neighborhood. 

Had I walked pass this creek bank a week earlier, I would've enjoyed it even more since lots of flowers must've bloomed by then. 

A typical spectacle everywhere in Seoul. Even under a bridge like this, there are free-to-use sport equipment for everyone to make the best of their time. 

But, some flowers were still visible for me to explore. And those are right under the highway above. 

So, literally..I was walking along the path of the creek OR walking under the toll-road above. 

A serene and calm morning accompanying me for about 1-hour long walk...back home.  

These are the hallmarks or highlights of what I've been doing in the morning on my way back home after taking the kids to school.

북서울 꿈의 숲 Dream Forest

개미처럼...봄이 오자마자...공공장소를 찾아 가는 사람들이 많아지고  우리도 마찬가지로 좋은 기회를 놓을까봐...갔다 왔다. ..애들은 좀 공원에 가자고 해서....생각 없이 오케이....가자.

우리 동네엔 이렇게 멋진 풍경을 담은 곳이 꿈읫 숲밖에 없는 것 같다. 물론 진달래, 벗꽃 등 같은 꽃들이 아직도 피우지 않았지만 ....그린 샤워(??)^^로 걸아 가자.......!!!! 

Yes, we wouldn't want to to miss the chance of enjoying the early breeze of spring with the kids.

This is just a 10-minute ride from where we live. 

Not so much to see apparently ...but boy..we did have time there.  

Simply strolling along the park and letting our eyes wonder and wander around ....was more than what we'd expected. 

Barren trees were still visible...and the field was light and pale brown..yet..the weather was tantalizingly inviting. 

Roller-blade-ing kids, rope-jumping kids, scooter-ring kids, hula-hoop-ing kids, and other you-name-it-you-got-it games...dotted the scenery at one of the section in the park.
