Packing It All UP....and here we go....

phew.....gara-gara banyak pesenan....dari banyak orang...titipan juga..hehe.akhirnya tasku memblenduk+membludak jadi gak karu-karuan. Isinya macem-macem... ㅠ ㅠ
Thanks to Tante Yuni...she did the packing up for me. ㅋㅋㅋ I'm so lousy at packing things up.
Da..da...다..다...다...all three bags were ready. nicely put, eh?
oh..and one small bag for my passport and all.
Razqa...was left speechless...as I finished packing things up. I mean..my sister did it for me.
But he was still in *awe* after all the mess I made in the room. He finally saw that everything's INSIDE the luggage or baggage.
Now..let's have a breakfast first. I mean..buka puasa...*breaking the fast*....before my flight...at 8 pm.
Thank you, om Didik dan Tante Yuni..for being such nice hosts.
So, WEFIE...at my sister-in-law's house....
Thanks Tante, Om Didik, and little Razqa....cu again, ya...

Iftar + Birthday Feast @ Ramadan 2013

Saturday, 20 July 2013. Sangwolgok.
Indonesian students along with their families who currently live in Seoul, especially those studying at KDI, KAIST, KIST, HUFS, Korea University, Kwangwoon University, and others.
We had our first gathering during Ramadan.
First, it's Fasting Month and what could be more exciting than meeting other Indonesian friends in Korea and celebrating the fasting?
The first iftar we had: kolak: a coconut-milk cocktail.
Well, apart from iftar feast, we were actually also attending the birthdays of two cute little sons of mas Khairul and mas Ismail. Mas Khairul (the only male visible in the picture) was the host of the occasion in the evening.
Some mommies were busy pampering their babies in one room.
While the Daddies were having their shares of their first iftar. Not enough space so..we got to split the occasion into two.
We met at Mas Khairul's house @ Sangwolgok to have this dinner.
It's one great evening to share.
Could not imagine that we managed to squeeze and jammed pack ourselves into this small room^^

Buka Puasa @ SMP Branggahan

Another buka puasa or breaking the fast together.

This time around...it was my father's invitation. He asked us to join him to attend the buka puasa at his school where other teachers and their families would also be coming. It was like a pot luck party in essence because each family would bring some food to share. Daddy bought chicken satay and my sister cooked some vegetable salad and soup.
As we arrived at the school, other teachers were busy preparing the food for buka puasa. I noticed some of the things that I could eat and some that I could not. Kolak? of course. The appetizer for most of buka puasa time was there. Many kinds of soups, vegetables, chicken, beef, fish fillet and desserts were available.
I met my father's colleagues that I have known for a long time since we are like a family in itself.
After breaking the fast, we had Magrib jamaah and followed by Isya prayer and tarawih as usual.

This time I noticed that the school had been under renovation since there are new buildings and more greenery are visible around it.
My kids love to play around at the field at the center of the school.

Oh, Eyra ate 3 or 4 satays I guess. I never saw her eat that much...I guess it was because of peer influence or peer pressure. There were tens or more kids just in Eyra's age. She saw them eating with their respective parents, so I think Eyra must've wanted to taste the same situation....or was it because the satay simply delicious? Well, I never know. But, ...the buka puasa bersama has been a good rewarding experience for us.
