Gee....Another Tiny Works of Art

Yup....again...I bumped into this at home. Eyra just popped up making these tiny stuffs out of colorclay. It's a make-up desk...complete with its varied cosmetics on it. Gee....I bet she didn't use a magnifying glass when she created this!!!

Yet, the final result: superb.

Eyra's Newest Kitties

Just out of fun..she makes lots of stuffs from color clay...on a daily basis!!!! 

She'd be like 'going crazy' if she did NOT make anything...hmm.... 

 hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

ok.......................................just whatever that makes you cheerful, dear. 

She's really into this kind of color-clay stuff. 

And as for me..I got to make sure that I capture everything she makes everyday.

and...today..it happened to be these little kitties.

Eyra's Works of Arts

Eyra's extra-curricular has been 'clay-making' class. Yup, she's really into play-doh.  

The other day..she just dropped herself right in front of the door as soon as she reached the floor. 

hmm..wonder why. It turned out..she's a bit tired after making this. 

Well, it is intricately nice. 

But..she told me that it took her her arms and legs (noo....just kidding) to make this Spongebob notebook+post-it came to life.^^ 

BUUUUUTTT...just when I thought she'd finished or given up making any more crafts with play-doh...she made Baskin Robbin like play-doh. 

And even she made the BR sign by herself. 

Okay...let's have some ice cream, then.

Never Get Bored with These Stacks of Bricks

Lego bricks. Lego-like bricks that's for sure. I lost counts as to how many Freya's been busy with assembling and re-assembling the whole bricks into these school-like building--complete with its facilities. 

So, we're stuck at home and Freya--as always--could not just be still. 

Without I ever realized it.....she finished the whole process of making what looked like...well...Those!

Okay..as long as you enjoy doing it, gal.

Shadow Play...

Turn off the light....turn off the light....like what Nelly Furtado said.

As it went off, the kids came to play along with the smartphone's flashlight...and out of the blue...they came up with this.  

Might as well let them play with the imagination ....instead of using the apps for games. 

Not that it's bad..but...sometimes...they need to explore the other possibilities of using the apps for things others than 'staring' at the glaring screen.^^ 

They like puppies....even though they know that we won't allow them to have ones in the house. So, puppy dolls....or puppy shadow play like this.....came to the rescue.^^

The Rainbow-Lover~~ Freya

She's fine now. Freya got recovered from more-than-a-week fever that finally got her take a rest. But..as soon as she found herself healthy and cheerful as she usually has been....she just couldn't wait to grab some drawing pencils and started drawing what she loves the most: rainbow. Only this time..I sense that the rainbow is inside the 'talking box' uttered by a girl she drew in the picture. I wonder if the girl was actually herself. 

But that does not matter. What does is that she's fine and getting ready for school and other summer vacation. 

She really has a knack for drawing rainbow in most of her drawings. And..as for the butterfly that she drew....it looks like she learned it at school....

and the fact that even both the girl and the SUN do have a smiley feature on their faces....is something worth-noted. Yep, she's back.

Eyra's Very Own Name Card

One of Eyra's friends, Ghazy, is about to leave Korea and back home to Indonesia. He distributed his name card with his picture and name on it. This really got Eyra excited as well as envious. ㅋㅋㅋ She insisted that she should also have her own. But, I told her that she just cannot make name cards if she does not have any idea of using them. 

Little did I know that when she got home after a farewell party with Ghazy, she glued a picture of herself on a piece of paper and started coloring it. 

And this is what she got. Gosh...now I know that she really wanted to have name cards with her name on it.^^ Anyway, she'd realized that she could even make her own name cars without having to spend any money. 

Good girl. I think I kind of love it. Its' much better. 

Though..a name card should also include address and all. 

But, still, this is way much better than I'd expected. 

Keep the good work, Eyra.  * oh, I just realized that she made one for her sister, too.^-^

Planes? Sharks?...

I was reading an article for my class assignment while Eyra and Freya (sitting next right to me) were busy making 'something' out of their color clay. A few minutes later..I found out these cute little planes or sharks....:) put on my reading list. 

Eyra blurted out: "Dad, please pick one that you like. 

Oh, wait..I think I'll give the yellow one to you, Dad."

And what about the others? --> blue for Mama, pink for Freya, and the purple one for me, Dad.

But, why yellow? I was curious..but just left it unanswered. I just grabbed my camera and took a moment to take the picture of those little 'sharks'.  

*Thanks, dear for 'coloring up' my time so as to 'remind' me when I got to squeeze in myself in between assignment and play-time to be or at least..take a moment to notice what you're up to.

A week has passed and then I noticed something else. Wondering what those were that you put up on the wall. But, I guess...that's how you 'spend' your time...playing around in the house. 

*gals, just keep on making stuffs you like* and decorate the house as you please...^^

A Cameraman in The Making

Freya and Eyra were up to something. They brought two medium-sized boxes along with them as I watched them coming home. Then...without taking a rest or anything, they started unfolding gift-wrappings available at home and began cutting them into square shapes. 

They looked so busy. It's not the first time that they do this kind of stuff. 

Then..I noticed that they glued the fancy paper on the box so as to cover it all over. Okay..I still had no idea of what they were about to 'create'. 

Freya, too, was preoccupied with her own!

It looks like they were making the same 'thing' 

oh....what's the paper cup doing on the one end of the box? They kinda attached it onto it and wait...I guess..I knew what they were up to. 

They made a camcorder.!! They learned it at school and even Mr. Maker at Cbeebies made one, too. 

Even, there is a handle which makes it easier to hold. Hand-held camera.

Out of ordinary stuffs found at home, they made a camcorder...a big one....

Wait, they made two: one for each.

Looks like 'summer holiday' gave them an urge to keep themselves busy.
