A Half-Day Trip to Aqua Planet @ Ilsan

With reserved tickets in our hands, we went to Ilsan by subway line 3 and got off at Juyeob station.....and took the exit number 2 or 3.

then...we'd find a park...through which we walked through for about 15 minutes...

until we reached a vast square with an unmistakably the building we were heading to: Hanwa Aqua Planet...which stood right next the famous One Mount Indoor Snow Park!

Along the way, we bumped into some people enjoying the summer!

....at a nearby water fountain...and waterway.

ok...long story short...

we finally reached the entrance atrium.of the Aquarium.

not many people were visible despite the fact that it's 현충일 or Memorial Day in Korea....I wonder if it's because of the MERS Scare. ㅠ ㅠ 

...but we did go out anyway....going as far as Ilsan....to visit the aquarium! 

Yep...we did have fun.

the shows and attractions really entertained us.

....and...that wrapwrapped up our half-day tour to the "planet"...♡♡♡

UNBELIEVABLY Colorful Underwater World

Fish tank at our eye-level to enjoy...

jelly fish tube...which turned out to be more than just a tube...since

it changes colors every second!

.....enough to awe any first timer...

..even a simple fish tank is awesome enough to behold!

♡not to mention other strange-looking sea creatures...like this upside-down jellyfish.

...or....being able to take an underwater picture with a huge whale swimming by...

hmm....all of a sudden....there's an ad popping out of nowhere ㅋㅋㅋ

진짜로. ..즐거운 하루였다.

So...girls...You got what you wanted, right?

DEEP BLUE SEA....

that's what came to my mind...

the lurking sharks...

in the deep blue sea.

It's a world beyond words.

different aquarium posts its own uniqueness...

...in portraying the depth of the oceans.

so does this Aqua Planet...

that we visited on 06.06.15

eerie music that loomed into my ears...

...sort of imbued the sense of being absorbed into this sharks-filled tank in the deep blue sea section.

but thankfully. ...

a brightly lit clear blue aquarium popped out onto my eyes to see.. 

...which later on....with catchy songs...the whole area began to fill itself with disco-like techs of the 70s.

....also...the depth enhanced the deep blue sea-ness....for our senses to feel.

You were having a great time, right?

We did hope so.

Hanwa Aqua Planet: Touch Pool, Penguins and...

Many varieties of fish in the bright and clear sea water are provided at the touch-pool area for anyone who wish to play with them.

...or.....what about this?

☆hnmm...not really aqua-related, for 15,000 won...we can have our faced drawn in  caricature! ~bit expensive...I guess.

okay then....back to the touch-pool.area.
