walaupun tiap tahun sama...tapi tetap saja....tak kuasa utk tak menikmatinya.

Spring Changed our Skin, too???

My hands were relatively dry during winter...but as Spring set it...amazingly...they sort of changed as well....ㅋㅋㅋ

Wow..the power of weather and its effect on our skin.

No more lotions to spread on....and..I ...well ....for some time.....could save time and find no trouble of putting on some lotion to keep the skin from being "dried up"ㅋㅋㅋ

#Aha Moment: Save this Precious Picture

A cloudy morning walking through campus on my way to class.

Got a glimpse of this too-good-to-ignore spectacle.

Spring comes and passes us by so quickly that we tend to take everything for granted. 

So, while it lasts..and while I could savor the colorful bless of the nature...

a quick snapshot of this section of park at my campus WON'T waste my time.

Instead, I will always be able to treasure this #Aha Moment for good.

TWO Colors of Spring..in Pleasantville!!!

One is the pale white and grey color that even the bright blue sky cannot overtake it. 

Yet, this is a quintessential color of spring--at least what I saw along my walk veering off the alleys near Gyeongbokgung Palace. 

Even a facade of Museum of Contemporary Arts along with the passing by cars...only enhanced the grey-white feeling of spring that my eyes were witnessing. 

Just when I veered off into an alley around it, I couldn't help but notice a remarkably stand-out cafe(?) at the intersection of the alley... 

This is unquestionably one of my fave pictures that day.

Until, of course, I found this eye-opener brightly colored(^-^) flora at one corner of the alley I was passing through. As though, I was suddenly zapped into one episode of Pleasantville..when I suddenly realized that everything is COLORFUL at that very exact moment.

Had I been dreaming? I mean, I'd been exposed to ONLY grey+white  (yet, never dull) color of spring...until I came across this alley. 

Now, that's what I call 'COLOR life' 

even...I suddenly became an avid lover of scarves and handbags store.!!! 

And..I was finally able to spot one girl in YELLOW jacket among the mostly-dark side of people's jackets..though it's Spring!

So, that's the 2 Colors of Spring...at least to me.

Seoul Dream Forest

Wait, is this what was supposed to be a dream forest? Well....it is in the eye of the beholder..that's what counts--at least. 

As for me (or my camera lenses, so to speak), it is^^

This is what the forest looks like actually--perfectly surrounded by jungle of concrete apartments--a distinctive landscape of Seoul or any other cities in the peninsula. But, hey..this is what makes it a dream forest. 

An eerie evening just before sunset, I was dragged into the loneliness of this barren-looking forest longing for the embrace of spring.

As I glanced again, I spotted a typical yet an unfamiliar landscape I never knew existed before.

I've been to this forest several times, but..that was the first time I climbed up the hill and circle around the very spot where I spotted this spot:)

Mama and her best friend, mbak Ulfa @ Kyunghee

It's true, so they say, that..to enjoy the spring of cherry blossoms at Imundong, one does not need to go as far as Youido or to other town since right at the back our backyard, there are trees adorned with cherry blossoms.^^ 

What I mean by backyard is no other than our beautifully cherry-laden Kyunghee University. Well, this is Mama who's been eager to go here just for the sake of capturing the image of herself with the cherry at the background, of course.^^ 

And this is Mama's best friend, mbak Ulfa--who likes going out, too, as I found out. 

What do you think, mbak Ulfa? this one is worth-going to?*

Lots of trees are adorned with these white angels dangling from atop.... 

Walking right through it seems like ascending into a heaven on its own.

Spring Time: a time for gardening

Gardening 101 for kids. We just bought a plastic of flower seeds for home-grown experiment. And since Spring time has given us a kind of excitement or anticipation for something new, we thought "why don't we also try planting the flowers of our own?" 

And we did. Freya was the one who's so excited, so excited that even she wanted to do it by herself and we let her do it. 

Now...we need to see if it'll grow...

벚꽃? 어디?

벚꽃? 무슨 벚꽃이야? 벌써 4월 13일인데 아직까지 주변에 벚꽃이 없다는 걸 보니 좀 이상하다고 생각해. 물론 남쪽엔 벚꽃죽체까지 열렸는데 복쪽에 있는 도시들은 언제까지 더 기다려야 할지 모르겠다. 싱송생송(?)같은 급한 마음이 생긴 애들이 여의도나 롯데월드에 가자고 했지만...볼 것이 없다면 거기까지 와 버렸으면 ...어떻게 하죠?
참...날씨도 아직 추운데다가 바람도 많이 불렀고...
밖으로 가는게 좋지만 ...돈도 들 지도 모르니까...그냥 방꼭만 있는데 더 낫지 않을까 싶다. 티비나 책을 보고 숙제 (오마이것)까지 하는게 더욱 흥미롭고 가치가 있는 시간이 아닌가 싶다.
