Rwanda Cultural Night ...part 2

More Rwandan dances on stage.

This time they changed their attires and colors. Splendid...coz it means I could see another nuanced portrayal of its culture.

What I didn't expect was that...lots of people were on their feet....dancing along. Woa.^^

...after a rave dance...H.E. Ambassador of Rwanda to Korea, Ms. Emma-Francoise  Isumbingabo.

She's delivering her speech and elaborating about Rwanda....and jokingly it would've taken days to talk about Rwanda...

...so she ended her speech and gave some tokens of gratitude to Kyunghee University for collaborating in the cultural night. Though I didn't clearly see what the picture was...I heard her mentioning about a gorilla in the picture.

...on another souvenir were the carved picture of an elephant and its baby elephant.

....and..that wrapped up the ceremonial.

...But then....another commotion emerged as people started to dance along with the dancers from Rwanda...

.of course...they're dancing to the beats of Rwandan style.

Woah...lots of people just flocked onto the stage and had a marvelous time!

....and....a warrior dance....using choreographed mouth as its instrument wrapped up the festival.

Roses in Shivers

I was walking in the campus park...ready to ..well...as usual....everyday....pick Eyra up from school...when I noticed some fresh roses ...seemingly shivering after autumn shower.^^ it's unusual to see the everlasting roses like these...since I normally saw them in summer.

Does it mean that they stood against the test of the season. ..and have been living their cycles of life all this time? 

Seonyudo Island: The Bridge to Reach & Get Out of There

A bridge connecting the island and the Han River bank...

It's only accessible by people...not even bikes!!!

It opens for 18 hours a day, though.

The skyline of Youido CBD...

...is visible from the bridge...and it's...

...somewhat different from the view seen from Mapo Bridge...

...and it's a scary....yet fun experience to cross this bridge.

..it may be just okay during clear days...

...but not during rain and gushing wind blowing in all directions...

...but...when it's clear...it's surely gonna be a different story.

Let's walk cross this bridge fast!!!

...while at the same time I couldn't put my camera down...

...since the view itself was worth-captured.

...phew...finally we made onto the bridge over the highway...

...yes...we still had to cross another section of the connecting bridge....which fortunately gave us a different angle of the skyline.

Cantik Nian

Kampusku nampak cantik. Kecik tapi canteeek....berkat musim gugur.

Kuambil ini foto saat kupegi ke balai internasional utk mengurus bbrp hal.

...sempatlah ambil gambar. Tak boleh masa secantik ini terlewatkan.

...buat bbrp org mgkn ini hal yg biase je. Namun....not for me. No matter how busy I'm...I don't want to skip even the trivial thing around me.

Nature at its Best

At least through my wife's lenses as she captured these images when she strolled along the Dream Forest.

I got her keen eyes from these pictures.

Yup...it's the sheer triviality that makes these pictures stunning.

On the Top of Bonghwasan (part 4): Mom and the Kids

Ok...let me explore more....I found this pine cone perched on a rooftop of a Korean traditional house.

...yup...we're then having fun at the side of the house...

....the weather's too nice to just quit for the day...

Freya seemed to have endless ideas of how to make the best of her time...

....but we got to descend from the top since it passed 6 pm...

...so..bye bye Bonghwasan. Cu again...maybe in Winter in snow???
