A Short Video from Our Incheon Trip

This is short video I took as we ventured out @ Wolmido Amusement Park. This is Apollo Disco: The most sought-after ride in the park. It's so hilarious. What made it even more temptingly hilarious is the comments made by the DJ who blatantly and overtly made jokes and over-the-top ridiculous comments about the passengers taking the ride. He simply kept on picking on the passengers one by one until they blushed and lost control and forgot to get a grip on the handrail and fell off....^^ 

Even..just staring and watching at this ride is an experience in itself. 

Practically, it should be on everyone's must-do list when it comes to visiting this 'tiny'* amusement park. *not so tiny, actually.

The thing was that..we were drawn by the sheer sound of joyous 'ooh and aah' as well as the intermittently uproar of laughter ...

which turned out to be oozing out of this Apollo Disco ride.

Freya, please look at the camera. We're trying to make a pic here. Oh..what were you looking at, dear? Pls...just for a sec...could you just please take a look at the cam just like what your sister's doing?

Oh, well..it didn't work. 

Oh...there. Good girl. But..wait...Eyra...could you just take a look at Mama for a while. Say Cheese. Hmmm...then..it's Eyra who got distracted. 

Oh, well.... 

There you go!!

All of you focused on the camera and...

ok..done!

But...Eyra did a pretty good job of 'faking' that we WERE NOT tired.

 in this sea-side amusement park.

Seemingly Surreal Pictures at Sea (part 2)

 

Tiny cars lined up on a ferry with black dots of birds swirling around the propelling ferry into the far-flung sea. A toy-like ship toyed above the sea. 

We were passing this ferry at a speed so fast that I got to take the moment of capturing this cute little ferry. Though it was not small in reality, it does look small in this picture..making it one of the surreal pictures I took during vacation. 

This one looks so so..but let me post it here anyway.

Wolmido (Part 7): Riding on a Mercedes Benz ^-^

 

It was indeed a Mercedes Benz. There were other luxury cars for the kids to enjoy. This remote-controlled car is for rent at Wolmido. Kids surely wanted to try on one of these. 

As for Eyra, it seemed to 'small' for her but ...as usual..she kept on insisting that she would be fit into it. And she was right. 

But..comparing the scale of the mini car and its surrounding, we can see clearly how small the car is. Once again...the monorail that dotted the landscape said something like: "Visit us again, someday". 

Mama...with their kids. 

They seemed to have their own world of imagination. 

"I love it!!"

Now let me get this straight: I wanted to try it on. But come on..I wouldn't fit into it. So..let's just take a picture with Daddy, too.

Wolmido (Part 3): Feeding the Seagulls

The seagulls fluttering around the ferry and flying over us... 

Yes..they intermittently flew over the people who deliberately fed them... 

They kept on coming back and forth...making circles around us...which was pretty amazing. 

Of course..Eyra and Freya could not resist themselves from not feeding the birds with their own hands. They saw what others were doing and surely enough..they wanted to do the same. 

Then..they began their 'journey' of emptying a can of Pringles and gave the remnants of Pringles to the birds... 

Birds+kids+sea=endless fun. 

It turned out that their Mom was also excited about all this. 

I wonder if the seagulls ever catch fish coz it seemed to be a normal daily life for them to be fed by the people. 

I mean..they ought to hunt for their own food, but..this port kind of changed the way these birds survive. Or I could be exaggerating....^-^

In fact people had started feeding them..years ago..

so it may sound so naive to think that these birds might change their habit.
