What's On @ Korean Cineplex

Korean movies were dominating the box office this week. With 명량 (The Roaring Currents)'s viewers surpassing 10 millions, no wonder that it became the talk of the whole nation. 

But, other movies like How To Train Your Dragon 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy and another Korean movie '해적' or Pirates were also dominating the box office. 

I was perplexed by the selections offered by the cineplex this summer.

But..what can I do? I got to see most of them.

Being a movie-freak, I couldn't just let them pass me by, right?

Water Park-Turned Plaza

We're perplexed by the sound of children splashing water at the plaza @ Yongsan Plaza. Yes..the place used to be a concert hall or just an empty plaza. But..during summer, it was changed into a temporary water park.^^ 

We're on our way to see the movie at CGV Yongsan when Eyra and Freya were enticed by the sounds of children playing with the water.^^ 

So...we stopped and saw the fun down there. The entrance fee was 5,000 won for kids and 3,000 won for adults. Hmm not bad. But..it's far from home, dear. 

I forgot as to whether I promised them to take them here again for a swim..^^ gee...

But...in the meantime..let's take a picture..and I did hope that you all enjoyed the movie. 

As for the water park-turned plaza....let it be this way...for a while.

How to Train Your Dragon 2

After a week since its release, Eyra and Freya asked me to take them to the theater. This time...it's Dragon time. Yep, they watched the first one and this one seems to excel as well. Eyra wouldn't have been so excited, had om Kiky and tante Nia not come to join us. Since there were not many seats left...I got to purchase the tickets online so as to confirm our seats. 

There were 6 of us watching the 'HTTYour Dragons" on IMAX.

I thought the IMAX at Yongsan was the same height and size as the one in Wangshimni CGV..but boy...I was wrong. It's not even half the size of the latter. :(

But..luckily the HTTYD in 3D was amazing. 

and oh...just a day before...."Guardians of the Galaxy" was also the one movie I did enjoy.

Oh child....^^(one of the OST's title) still lingers on my ear.

other 80's songs dotted during the movie really got me hooked to the movie.

What a MARVEL movie. I love every bit of it.
