Nah. . .yg lucu adlh. Kutemuin parkiran motor banyak bgt. Welah. . .ini kog kayak ada pasar mlm sj spt di Indo. Tapi minus tukang parkir dadakan^^

It's a rare sight I encounter in.Seoul.^^

Sunset @ Two Different Spots in Seoul

Overlooking Han River//Sunset//Swan Boat//Floating Restaurant//Olympic Stadium...

Sunset//the under-construction Lotte Tower//Han River//Jogging Track//Ttukseom... 

A soon-to-be the tallest building in Seoul. 

In a different place: Dongmyo동묘//I climbed up a hill nearby..and enjoyed the sunset... 

Found this...I did not have time to find out what that was.

Floating Island Near Banpo Bridge That Did Not.....

 ..did not work!! at all. yes, we came all the way to Banpo bridge to see the so-called and supposedly famous Banpo bridge fountaion show..only to find that the show was CANCELED!!

sigh. 

good thing ..that...there was this floating island....nearby.^^ 

the brightly lit floating market over Han River became one of the main attractions. 

so, we had no much time left to enjoy before all lights went out.^^ 

This is the Banpo Bridge fountain that did NOT work that night. oh, swell.^^ 

let just call it the night...^^ 

back to the floating island...on which cafes, exhibition, and other cultural halls are set up. 

We did not enter the halls, just being at the door steps leading to the island.

It's late already...and a bit cold and windy.... 

couples...families...and friends...took turn to take a moment or two..to take pictures.

A Kebab vendor was spotted selling kebab right under the bridge. what a cool way to end the trip.

He was shouting 'halal' halal halal halal...so...tante Yuni dared herself to approach the seller..

and bought two kebabs. 

As for us, we're waiting for the bus to arrive. 

A cool way..to stand in the middle of a street under the Banpo Bridge.

What a night.

On My Way To Work

There was a fire at Guro station and it made all subways on line 1 come late than usual. All subways ride got delayed or slowed down in their speed. 

Even when it run through the Han river, its speed was not in its normal pace...it was more like slowing down...so..I got a chance to take a picture while the train was on the move. 

Yeouido with its landmark "63 Building" was visible from afar. Just when I clicked my camera, Mugunghwa train was passing us by. 

In a split second, in a different track, KTX passed it by.

At first, I was taken aback by the sudden change of color.^^

It turned out to be another train passing by at the same time.

Then...off they went both ways. 

A clear view of 여의도 with its sky scrappers was visible once again.

I got to rush since I was already 15 minutes late.

But...in the end..I did enjoy the slow pace of the train, though.^^

Ttukseom Resort: What We Encountered

Amidst the strong windy afternoon, we opened up a tent at Ttukseom resort next to Han River and right under the perpendicular fly-over (above us, of course). The wind was so strong that I finally gave up 'exposing' myself to the wind and ended up entering the cube-like art gallery(?) right next to the park. 

It's quite warm and not windy--which was good.The loophole construction simply asserts the fact that this construction is indeed a nice touch to the otherwise barren riverbank at Ttukseom.

As we ventured deeper into the tube, we encountered some exhibitions. 

Though we didn't quite get what it was supposed to mean, we found it interesting since there were Hangeul alphabets attached through numerous skewers in such a way onto a green ball at the center which seemed to pop out of the ball. 

The second one we encountered was a gallery of portraits taken by children. 

Yes, the theme (if I am not mistaken) was 'World as seen through the kids' eyes' 

These pictures are taken by the kids and compiled in such a way to create a colorful illusion.  

oh, right..that's that the theme. 

From within the tube (art gallery), I tried to capture a glimpse of the resort where we're (supposed to be) camping out.

This is what the Ttukseom (뚝섬) resort station looks like. It's just underneath the flyovers. Pillars of bridges and flyovers are scattered in a way....to indicate the fact that even underneath a bridge.. a lively cultural experience is not impossible. 

Good Morning, Suray^^

I was on my way to start my activities at the earliest time possible which was around 6 am 

(Thursday, Sept. 27).

The sky was 'cracked' open by the rise of the sun. The warm orange sunlight was reflecting itself into the Han River that morning. The shimmering light somewhat enhanced the silhouette of the dark-grey-looking apartment buildings. The Han river was like a calm rushing flow of water with crystals on its surface.

All of this was happening and flickering right before my eyes while crossing the Han river...

I was so happily blessed that I felt the urge to capture this amazing moment.

It's not everyday that I could see this beautiful grandeur.

For some, it may be just another trivial moment passing by...

BUT...

for me..

It WAS and will always be something special...

Hangang Park: Youinaru Park

Hangang Park at night was lighted up with shimmering lights from the surrounding buildings or cars passing on the bridges or from the ferries passing by the river.

I know that the pictures did not do any justice to the beauty of the area. 

Okey, we went there by bus number 261 from Imundong that goes straight to Youido and Youinaru. It goes there after circling downtown....what a ride. But, one thing for sure, I know how Seoul looks like at night through a nigh bus ride

The Seoul Tower far beyond is flickering and the Ferry boat that takes passengers and tourists to enjoy Seoul at night through river cruise was seen passing us by.

Eyra and Freya were holding their pencil cases with Talking Tom and Talking Angela picture on them.

The ferry was illuminated with the changing color of lights that somewhat a feast to the eyes.
