Cafes also dotted the area..for sure.

It's late afternoon when I walked up the neighborhood.

Pretty neat area..actually.

A good venue to sit on the benches...

Short-lived Flowers worth-remembering

Got my Sony A6000 ready wherever I go. It was at Iris Garden near Dobongsan Station when I encountered these magnificent flowers.

It's about dusk...so the pictures are not tnat bright. But...I think the flowers were captured alright.

Eventhough I have no ideas what their names are....at least I.admire.their beauty.

Naksan: Seoul's Ancient Wall (part 1)

July 15....and it's the last day of Ramadan. Still I got to work. And as I got my work done. ..I was thinking of taking a hike to the Mountain.^^

so...I went to Naksan to...

..enjoy Seoul from atop a mountain.

but..first we got to climb up the well-made pathway alongside the Ancient Wall.

...along the way...I might as well take pictures of the surroundings.

a beautiful afternoon well spent.

...trees sprung up....growing up...within the wall complex.

...oh...actually...I was walking down the path since I took this road when I finished exploring the wall.

..a famous landmark of Dongdaemun. ..visible from where I was walking.

A strikingly different world...

this is what it actually we must circle around...if ...if...we want to enjoy this natural wonder.

We could use the exit 1 from Dongdaemun station and...walked right up.

to enjoy SEOUL like this. All from the ancient wall at Naksan.

DIOR: A Journey through Time

I got a privilege to see Dior exhibits in its first week after opening at Seoul's Dongdaemun Design Plaza.

As we entered into the first section of the exhibits, we saw a rendering of Dior's house in Paris.

..thanks to the digital video mapping.^^

...then...as ventured into the house, we saw a silhouette of quintessentially definitive Dior's Lady.

...yup....unmistakably. ...we're entering the world of Dior's.

...as I turned my eyes, the very same mannequin turned its colors as the lights shone dimly onto her.

...fast forward....a line up of dressed up mannequins in Dior's haute couture greeted the visitors. 

yup...we're at the right venue....

to explore the wonders of Dior.

More excitement. ...ahead....for a newbie like me.

DIOR's Extravagance of Colors

Another section at Dior's exhibition that sort of epitomized its sheer grandeurism...

all...captured in detailed illustrations...

...moving pictures on wall-mounted displays...

...all sorts of gawn...dresses. ...imaginable...

even...the names themselves...well....it knocked my brain out.

Salome and her feminine friends...

...so colorfully crafted...and ...intricately created.

so much....that I kept on clicking my camera since the backdrops turned out to be giving different lights so as to make the dresses appear stunning.

...then...I came to yet another eye-popping displays of kebaya-like dresses under the artificial blue-sky.

still...they mesmerized the bedazzled onlookers.

not to mention...the displays of roses in colored paintings circulating the exhibits.

hmm....Dior in its grandeur.

....and...at some parts of the walls, there laid bare opened...the jewelry. ..Dior's signature.

all in all...this is a festive of colors.

...just imagine...the price. ..or better yet... DON'T^^
