Social Brain and and a Peep into an Affluent Neighborhood

This is an art installation set up at a park near Buam dong. 

What intrigued me was what's written on its side!!!-*

Ok...this is a "social brain" though I wonder what it's supposed to mean or define. I should've read the complete inscriptions.

Then...I was walking down the hill to find a secluded library for literary education.

...then...we're trying to find the way out ...and that's when we realized we're inside ...

..a seemingly affluent neighborhood....judging from its high fences..and the facades of the houses.

It looks so serene...and I could assure myself that the neighborhood was somewhat different.

....then...we came to a familiar tunnel from where we came by the bus an hour earlier.

.....yup....just 30 minutes earlier we're somewhat up on the hill overlooking Seoul..and then we're back to the familiar streets of Seoul again.

Frozen "Disney on Ice" (part 4)

Blue atmospheric lighting imbued with the falling snow.

The mesmerizing dance numbers and songs were truly worth-tagging alongm

At first glance...the ice rink.seemed to be small...but then...as the show began...

I started to appreciate more that it's huge enough...

Elsa...Anna...brought to life what most audience  (read:children?) would love to dream.

Greatscout! It's been almost 2 hours...

And we barely noticed it. And that means that we got to be ready for the end of the show.

It's a good thing that the final act showcasing all well-known snd beloved characters of the whole show.

Then...all players came out again saluting the audience.

Off they went back into the backstage.

....that wraps up our meeting.

Bike + Subway: A Great Way to Travel Around

On weekends and holidays, bikes are allowed to be brought along via Seoul subways. Today...after biking along the river, we decided to go home by subway.

Which means that we got to bring along our bikes into the subways. Yup...it's Friday...but it happened to be a national holiday celebrating Hangeul Day.

So...four of us took the first compartment where bikes are allowed to be brought in.

It's not jammed packed. ..thankfully. so we had enough space to put our bikes.

And....then..the most challenging part was carrying our bikes up.and down the stairs. Gee.......we're not supposed to take elevator and escalators!!

But....we got to.pull our bikes up.and down via a specially designed bike track.

Still...it's a struggle for me....since I got to manage all bikes.....since not all stations are equipped with bike-friendly facilities.

Thank God....we decided to take subways...otherwise...we'd. ..

Seoul Fireworks Festival 2015: the Main Event!!!

I was still walking trying to find a good spot when all of a sudden a popping sound cracked the night skies.

Without futher ado, I stopped walking, took out my camera. . .

And started clicking on my camera

Barely realized that just next to me. .there's this ㅠ sophisticated camera.

Way more sophisticated than mine...

And then I started to think.of.having one^^

♡anyway. . .I managed to take some pics

Of the fireworks on action.

And. .oh there's one more thing I noticed: yachts and boats were cruising on the river.

I bet they were full of the *haves* who managed to pay the prices set to.enjoy the night festival in its maximum joy.

As for most Seoulites, being crammed on the bridge . . .on the riverbanks. . .was the only option they had.But. . .hey. . .that's fun, too.

. . .except. .when I . .again. . .realized that. . .there's a real camera next to mine.ㅋㅋㅋ

Ok. . .there's a pause. An intermission during the show...enough to give me time to move into a less crowded lot.

Only to find that. . .there were more.oh well. ..the fireworks festival itself was a sheer delight for most.^^

And...I was one of those who did enjoy the night.
