Hello Kitty Managerie

Freya got her birthday present and this one is Hello Kitty and her house in miniature.  

The bakery, the kitchen, and stuffs ....

Wait...it's not like this when she got it. In fact, this is a kind of Lego that she had to arrange.  which piece goes where....is what this is all about.

Wait..I think it's not Freya who did it, instead, their Mom did have some parts on building this. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ. I remember Eyra woke up late until 1 am just to build this one..and then she went into tantrum....ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

The lego was so small and tiny that at times it frustrated them when they could not figure out which one to go and lock. 

Considering the fact that Freya easily got distracted by other toys, I got to take a picture of it when it is still intact. 

Got some Heated Air, Dear?

Yes, we did. 

Eyra's classmates were having an outdoor activity. I didn't know as to why they had to do it in the blistering heat like today (June 24). But, I guess it was because they had planned it long before. Of course, they knew it all along that it would be summer by the time they had this outdoor activity...but....hey..this is summer and we are supposed to go outside and enjoy the sun after a 6-month long winter-like climate.

Right, guys? 

Looks like they agree to this term. Kids never mind when or where they play. As long as they have a great time hanging out with other peers, they would nod along and go for a heck-o-the-time in summer.

Look, they seemed to have a great day.

Eyra, too, was having a blast today. Wearing her classroom t-shirt with 'Happy Cheongryang Elementary School' inscription on it, she rode a see-saw with her friend.

Taking A Rest @ Seungil Bridge

One of the lodging houses right beside the entrance to Seungil bridge.

Nope..we did not stay here. We were just having a rest before continuing our trip... 

The shades under the tree gave us shelter while waiting for ibu Yuliana to pick us up. 

It's summer but interestingly there were some trees with dark orange leaves which reminded me of Autumn. 

The kids could not stop playing around in the area while we were taking a rest. They seemed to be undeterred by the heat... 

..just like most kids. 

But..I was wrong. we ended up sitting all together under the shade yes, we were so wanting to get back into the air conditioned car that would transport us to our next spot... 

Freya and Eyra got on other choices but to keep on playing....

Seungil Bridge: Under & Beyond

 

The Seung-il Bridge and the new one seen from afar. Well, not from afar...but from the very river that flows underneath. We went down into the river full of rocks underneath the bridge and up we walked down the path.... 

to have fun in the scorching heat of the early summer days.^^ 

But since it was a good scenery of both sight and sounds, we did not care about the heat at all--well, of course we did. It was just that ...this kind of sight is not easily found in the city..so we might as well make the best of our time.

Let's get narcissistic again.  

Om Wawan was having a splash with Eyra and Freya. The water was so freshly cold that we were tempted to get wet... 

As for me....I was no exception.

Not that it was deep or anything..it was just that the stones were so slippery that I worried too much 

Eyra and Freya, too, were being careful so as to get slipped into the water...

물놀이really refreshed our mind... 

At times....I am a bit allergic (ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ chuckles:-) to any combination of water+sunlight during the scorching summer since it easily turns me off and get me dizzy...but this time..it was an exception...

My wife was watching over the kids (oh, really?)^^ I thought she was like...day dreaming or something... 

Oh, I was wrong...she did watch over the kids while playing in the water... 

Some other kids were also visible in the vicinity. It looks like summer vacation got started already. Kids were enthusiastically playing I-am-not-sure-what and trying to catch some fishes...
