Mr. Nugroho's Farewell with KBS Family

So...tonight was a farewell dinner for...and with Mr Nugroho.

He's been in the office for two years now.

That's why....it's time for someone new from Jakarta to fill in his shoes.

And....tonight....we had a thank-you dinner for him.

The big family of KBS World Radio siaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Ok....again...the buffet's waving at me. Let's dig in....^^

Back to the table....we're talking over what happened for the last 2 years.

@ The Office with Pak Saiful

I just realized today that by next week,I won't be able to see Pak Saiful again since his term of replacing Mr. Nugroho at the office is going to be over. Yes..he's replacing Mr. Nugroho who is on a 3-week leave.  

And..realizing that he won't be here by next week, well..why not take a picture with Pak Saiful, then? OH...I just realized that he's been working out. 

and when I asked where he does his fitness training...he told me that it's inside the KBS building. 

I was LIKE "WHAAATT? there's a fitness center inside the building?" 

How come I never know that? Ok....thanks for sharing the information.

But then...who am I gonna go there with? ^^

Anyway.thank you Pak Saiful for being at the office. We'll be seeing you again soon.

After Lunch Pictures @ Lebaran 1435 H

Happy Eid Mubarak to everyone. 

After having our lunch at mbak Ulfa who happened to live just near HUFS, I took the kids to the campus to play. Freya along with her new friends, Biruni and Sofyan--Pak Nugroho's sons.  

After taking the kids off with their parents, I let Freya play around in campus...just let her roam freely.^^ 

And she did. 

And me....let's take a selfie with a style.

what style? dunno. Just let the mirror do the trick. 

The mirror placed at the park was actually a camouflage to 'hide' the otherwise enormous-looking air exhausting facilities. 

Back to Mbak Ulfa's house. Now another friend arrived. This is Freya and Lala--mbak Rini, our friend's daughter.  

Although we live in the same city, we barely meet each other. So, Lebaran is a good way for us to meet up again with friends whom we barely have time to meet.^^

It's about 5 pm and it's time for us to go home....and just when we were about to leave the HUFS complex, someone shouted Eyra's name.

It's Subin's eonni who happened to be around the campus.

The Last Buka Puasa @ KBRI this Year.

The 4th Buka Puasa Bersama @ Indonesian Embassy. That day's topic was insurance for migrant workers in Korea. Lots of issues were discussed during almost 2-year session of talks about insurance. Despite its utmost importance....one phrase: a dizzying fact!:-) 

Short story long..I mean long story short...let's jump to the main event of the day: Having the Fasting BROKEN..I mean ...buka puasa...or breaking the fast. This time, I finally managed to ask Pak Nugroho (a reporter from KBS World Indonesia) to come to the event. 

It so happened that this family (his wife and two sons) are in Korea for 3-week visit. So, why not bring along his family to the occasion, then? After all, we thought that we might find it hard to get in touch: due to the distance... 

So, it's a good chance for us to get to know pak Nugroho's family.

A Day Before Holiday!!!

Pak Nugroho, Windy, and Eunbie were all busy...or wait..were they?

sure, they were. I mean..it's the last week of December and everyone was happily busy. 

We got a tteok party. No, it's not a party. Ms Hong brought us some tteok for us to eat..especially for Pak Nugroho who never had any tteok before.

Ms Hong and Ms Park were busy on their own desk and as for us...gosh..what were we thinking??? taking picture at the office???? 

okay, just this once, guys. Just before the holiday, I'd like to take your picture.
