Chuseok Morning: Kid Having Their Breakfast

Yes...it's Autumn, officially.

There's this one particular tree outside our pension that showed this bright color...

was it naturally like it or was it because it's autumn that it had its color? 

ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ they just woke up and....what?/they're ready to eat?^-

Sitting on a bus after having rafting trip, on my way to Pension, I took some shots of the scenery along the way. 

A mountain....up there...with its characteristics of white rocks.

cars were parked in the parking lot leading to one of the 'water fall'  

I could barely see the water fall... 

Earthenware shop... 

The roadside banners celebrating the 600th anniversary of Pocheon city were posted on each side of the road. 

Apparently, Chuseok had urged people to go out. 

Across the creek....//wished I could get a clearer view... 

Peeping my hands out of the bus window...and taking a closer look at the surrounding.* Which was not a good thing to do.  

Some people preferred to having parked their car outside the designated parking lot. They just parked on the open spaces right next to the lake... 

Grrrrr...I could barely see the lake, again. 

Oops I captured a passing cyclist. 

Ireland pension with its own swimming pool...that I saw.

Hmm..could it be that staying here would've been nicer?

*couldn't say less.

Chuseok Outing @ Sanjeong Lake ( part 3 )

Six children in total were in the hands of two Daddies. One's visible here.

Okay we trusted them to take care of the kids while we're going on a rafting trip. 

Not long before we went, we noticed that Eyra started digging into the mud and she seemed to be making a pond out of it. 

I wondered what they were up to... 

But, I just let them play whatever they wanted.

I guess...they're having a good time there... 

Yes, it's not summer. But, autumn. 

Well, since it was a bit warm, the kids did not complain having to be outside doing this stuff. who would?

Chuseok Outing @ Sanjeong Lake (part 2)

Wheres' the lake? well, we didn't actually stay at a pension near the lake, we're just in the vicinity of the lake. Still, the pension is livable enough for as many as 20 people! 

But now...we needed to have our lunch before heading towards the rafting activity!!! 

Right next to the place where we had our lunch, a small creek was flowing. The water volume was subsiding...but...the kids loved it, still. 

okay...let's go meet the juin (owner) of the pension and got our deal done.

We needed to pay for the pension fee and the rafting!!

hmm..nice! 

While the adults were waiting for the bus that would take them to rafting site, the kids got their outfit changed and ready to play in the creek. 

All kids including the little one, Gaiza...^^

What about other things the boys did while waiting?

They're playing sepak takraw--a combination of football+volleyball.

then...off went the kids into  the ankle-deep creek.

and we let two Daddies stayed with them...

while the rest of us....-->> Go on a rafting!!!

Chuseok Outing @ Sanjeong Lake (part 1)

We chartered a mini bus that transported us from Seoul to Pocheon city. About 60 km off Seoul. 

We safely arrived at around 11.30. I thought it would take us 2 hours or so,,,but it was only 1.5 hour. I guess the traffic was not that bad on the first day of Chuseok after all.

We dropped off our luggage before arranging which rooms for whom. 

We stayed for one night at 맑은마을펜션, Malgeun Maeul Pension. 

Yup, we stayed again in another pension. Only this time...it's in Kyonggi province. 

Ready?
