Bravo!!!

Akhirnya kesampaian juga bikin animasi stop motion. Mama pun jg ikut-ikutan jg.

Setelah bikin boneka dari lempung warna, Eyra en Freya langsung milih latar belakang utk syuting filmnya.

Eyra memilih sebuah rumah mungil yang cocok untuk adegan petak umpet 5 karakter karyanya  

Dia gerakkan tiap karakter untuk tiap frame dan setelah itu dia rekam dengan mengklik tombol di keyboard komputer.

Stop motion animation studio memang tempat buat anak anak untuk bereksplorasi membuat film mereka sendiri.

Banyak peserta termasuk orang tua yg ikut serta terjun bikin rame-rame.

Walaupun hanya 20 frame, yang penting adalah bahwa mereka paham bhw menciptakan karya itu perlu krwativitas dan rasa cinta en senang.

Freya pun terpaku dgn karyanya sendiri. Dia bikin anak ayam dan larva.

Mereka boleh bawa pulang karya mereka.

Hanya dgn ongkos 3000 won per anak, kesenangan pun tercapai.

Stop Motion Experience!!

Eyra and Freya were ready to make their debut animation!

...the facilities. ..ready...

..first..they had to make the figurines.

...then...they got to put the figurines they made into the mock-up background they could choose from 5 available 

...then...they got to move the figurines and record the movement each time...

...by capturing them with a camera...

....connected to a computer with Stop Motion software...

...though it's just a small experience ..

...but boy...Eyra and Freya were so excited of being able to make their own movie.

...Freya handled the movement and the camera...

...and with laughter..and enthusiasm.... .they created their debut animation^^

Seoul Animation Center+Cartoon Museum

Halloween-themed hall full of sketches and drawings of the same theme...

..were hung on the wall. It's only one of the several halls or exhibition halls where different animation trailers were being screened.

Everywhere we looked, we'd be looking at numerous characters from various animation being displayed inside the glassed boxes.

...or simply...art installations...

...for first timers, this center is surely a novelty.

...I was not that intrigued since the exhibits were mostly kid-friendly stuffs...^^so...I went outside to see what's in store for someone who's into taking pictures...

...then...BAM! I encountered this unique lounge where we can borrow movies...and ...enjoy them on comfy couches.

Worth visiting? Well, yes...for first timers.

On Our Way To~From the Seoul Animation Center

We encountered tiles on which different words meaning 'love' were inscribed, including Indonesian word 'cinta'

"Cinta" '사랑' 'love' 

These tiles were in the vicinity of Korea Red Cross building.

...Seoul Tower was visible far beyond...

...and we finally reached the Museum!

After 2 hours....we got out of the museum/animation center...only to find that....oh right..it's night already 

We're going back home....and heading back to Myeongdong station.

...and...Sunday afternoon...well.spent.

Seoul Cartoon Museum

So much to do and see....and to learn.from. Eyra and Freya couldn't help but immerse themselves into what the museum has to offer.

...featuring the old good time...

...era when people laugh thanks to comics...

Stop Motion Making Experience

Eyra got her first experience of creating a stop motion movie she made by herself.

At the Seoul Animation Center, anyone..esp. the kids would definitely find this activity stimulating. Eyra herself made the characters....

...and then she moved each of the character inch by inch....and capture each movement to be recorded.

She's really into it and....with only 3,000 won for 45 minutes!...kids will have memorable activity.
