KBS Interactive Museum (part 2)

We reached the news room. KBS 9 News is another highlight of the interactive museum. Visitors had a chance to be a newscaster or anchorman or anchorwoman or anchorkid!!! 

Eyra and Freya insisted on sitting on the news desk. 

The prompter is right in front of the anchor... 

I was amazed at how fast Eyra could read the news in Korean. Well, not that fast...but considering the fact that it is not easy...she did it quite well. 

Now ..it's my turn.^^ 

One thing that I treasured most was ...the classic TV journey exhibition. We could see the historical display of TV from time to time...

This was at KBS Radio station. Eyra had her first recording ever! 

Freya, too, was so excited to be in the studio.

KBS Interactive Museum (part 1)

The same day (Feb. 6, 2013) when Mama went to Jogjakarta, we went to KBS museum at Youido. 

It's our first time touring the museum. Did not know what to expect inside. 

It turned out to be fun. 

We could play around at the blue screen where ...as if...we could be projected into a popular show broadcast by KBS. 

Not only Eyra and Freya who were excited, I was, too. Well, it would've felt disappointed if I had not tried it out myself.^^ 

Now we know how the virtual studio works...thanks to this interactive museum. 

Gang Concert show is one of the many famous TV programs aired by KBS, so it was such a good thing to be able to feel like ..being with the cast of this show. Simply loved it. 

The whole idea of this virtual TV is so intriguing that we did not want to leave this section... 

But...other interactive room was also too good to be true..to the eyes of the  children..and adults alike. Like this one: we could try our best in the dubbing studio.  

They could also try using the camera... 

Who would not want to be there...^^ 

구름빵 is one of the characters that the kids love. 

Eyra kept on trying her best to do the dubbing. She was reluctant at first..but after a few attempts, she managed to understand and got the hang of it.  

Then...off we went to another section of the museum.

Afrizal in KBS

Who's he? Ok, Afrizal--currently a student at a university in Jakarta-- is the winner of 'Discover Korea' Essay contest conducted by KBS World Radio. He is the winner after rigorously outshone himself in making a very catchy video and essay about himself and he would do if he set foot in Korea. And he did it. 

So, this is a picture inside our studio along with program producer, Ms. Lee. 

This time, he had to retell a diary of what he had been doing for the last few days in his visit to Korea. 

Well, he managed it pretty well., though. Hope that this would be a not-that-easy-to-forget experience for him.
