Kids on Jeongdongjin Rail Bike

With 40,000 Won for 4 persons + entrance to Time Museum, we enjoyed 2-hour long journey...of pedaling (sort of) the rail bike...along the coastline of Jeongdongjin. 

Gloves ON. It's windy. cold. 

Everyone's busy...preparing for the departure.

I think it's one of the best ways to enjoy and spend the time at the beach.

After all..this is what most people would do, should they choose Jeongdongjin as their destination.

On the Rooftop of Time Museum ~~~~>>> Rail Bike Tour

We're on the top of the museum...looking out onto the vast open East Sea as well as the Sun Cruise landmark beyond. What a great day...indeed. Freya was busy trying to ring the hanging bells. 

Yup..this is pretty much what it looked like from the rooftop. A rail way just next to the seashore..

oh..right..the rail bike tour. We got only 5 minutes to run from the museum to the starting point of the rail bike tour. phew.... 

But we managed to arrive..just in time before the pre-booked tour started. 

The 5.7 km track...seemed to be a good way to spend an afternoon.

Barbed wires were everywhere. Yup..it's not far from North Korea....so they said.

and..then..here we go again./...pedaling our bike.....

We were not allowed to get too close with other bikes...we got to make sure that a minimum 20-meter distance was maintained so as to avoid any accident. 

Another rail bike was about to pass us by as we're going back.  

Back to where we started.

Onward....to the Observation Deck

As the name suggests, the observation deck provides the passengers a chance to view the whole 360 degree view of the who Jeongdongjin area. 

With a 500 Won coin, we could zoom into those tiny islets or beaches down below.

Freya, surely, was enticed by tool.

From this angle, who would've thought that it would just like we're on an open sea-bound cruise ship! 

Yes....just like what I was waiting for. Not a single passenger.

Sneaked into a museum exhibit highlighting the processes of how the cruise ship was built. 

It's a show in itself.

Now, we're back to the ground ....ready to explore the glass-bridge to view the ship from a different angle. 

As we marched along, Grecian statuettes were (like) putting on a show.
