Bye-Bye Jeongdongjin!!!

January 7, 2015: Our Holiday Ended...for the time being.

We got to get back to Seoul. 

The Jeongdongjin Train Station is located right next to the beautiful beach...and this is what makes it a frequently visited spot along the Easter Coast of Korea.

and..don't forget..it's a great place to enjoy the sunrise.

We're ready to board the 5 pm Seoul-bound train. 

But..first...a picture would be a good way to give it a wrap...^^ 

Oh, since it departed from Jeongdongjin..and it's on weekdays...we're sort of ..well..lucky to have most of the seats..mostly for us...^^ 

Bye-bye..Jeongdongjin.....^^

The Second Morning & Sun Rise @ Sun Cruise Resort

 

It's 7.46 and the sun's about to rise....we climbed up to the observation deck.only to find that we ended up on the wrong section of the deck...but luckily it's way higher..^^ 

Other guests were seen on that green field...just two floor below us.. 

and..the sun did rise...^^January 5, 2015.

It's gleaming ....and shyly shining through the clouds... 

Chattering and Clicking Sounds....sort of disrupted the serenity...^^ 

Let's get away for a while..from the crowds... 

just doing my job... 

and this one's too. I am NOT endorsing anyone to take this kind of shots..ever.:)

Let's stick to the usual one... 

The upper observation deck..empty..no one's there..coz it's so darn* cold... 

Okay..thank God, we'd enjoyed the sunrise...one day earlier...

since it's the coldest and windy morning ever!! 

so, let's go back inside the ship... 

and...look...everyone's gone!! I guess the windy morning sort of pushed the flocks back into their rooms.

From The Glass Bridge...

we could observe the open sea.... 

I wonder why the girls seemed to be enjoying it... 

Even their Mom tried to, well, imitate the many others' picture-taking styles... 

Only to....okay..let's go back to the old-school style.. 

Wait, what's Eyra doing on the tree? 

Back to the glass-bridge..it's my turn..and I got to admit that it was a bit nauseating.... 

But..surely...not for Freya... 

I was not ...that particularly fond of this...at all. 

and...she kept on walking back and forth...giggling... 

on a glass catwalk. 

Again...feeling kinda freely joyous. 

and...her sister, too.

or..jumping on the glass bridge? oh, please..stop it, girls.

all in all, what a great moment indeed, at least for them. ㅋㅋㅋ

Onward....to the Observation Deck

As the name suggests, the observation deck provides the passengers a chance to view the whole 360 degree view of the who Jeongdongjin area. 

With a 500 Won coin, we could zoom into those tiny islets or beaches down below.

Freya, surely, was enticed by tool.

From this angle, who would've thought that it would just like we're on an open sea-bound cruise ship! 

Yes....just like what I was waiting for. Not a single passenger.

Sneaked into a museum exhibit highlighting the processes of how the cruise ship was built. 

It's a show in itself. 

What Sun Cruise might've looked like from above. 

Now, we're back to the ground ....ready to explore the glass-bridge to view the ship from a different angle. 

As we marched along, Grecian statuettes were (like) putting on a show.
