Seoulland : see you again

But, wait...we want to take a pose with Daddy, first.

"knock, knock! Anybody home?"

No one's here. It's getting dark...and everyone's about to go....^^

so...we were passing the bridge lit with a dim light...

Meeting Ara & Nado. 

Ara & Nado: the characters from Korean TV. it's one of the achievements from Korean animation industries that the whole country  (read: children) could succumb to the success and attractiveness that they offer.

It was about 6 pm and the park was about to close. So we took the time to take a photo out of the limited time available before going out of the park.

since it was a Spring festival, the adorned heart-shaped flower was the perfect spot for a memory photo with the whole lot of families. Just like what we did.

At the back,  the lights were lit up. the sky started to doze off into grey palette color

Their Mom joined the kids. never wanted to miss the chance of being framed into the eternity of picture-esque snap-shot 

in front of the windmill before saying goodbye to the park where we spent almost 6 hours of the afternoon..

KIddie Bumper Boat @ Seoulland

Kiddie Bumper boat. I thought it was free inclusive of the full-day pass. no. I was wrong. 

but..since the kids insisted on riding on them....I got no other choices but....to let them have fun with them. Here they were. They were on a floating bumper boat in the park. 

the blue water in the bright Spring afternoon did enhance the happiness shining on their faces. Well, who could resist such a cheerful feeling .....^^

Choa & Moya in Seoulland

Choa and Moya: two characters that my kids love these days. So, upon finding out that they were the central theme of the Spring festival, they loved it. We were sitting on a bench under the roller coaster where the two characters were.

Eyra loves it sooo much. Look at the grinning face she got.

Break Dance Cafe ?

It was cool. First, we got on the ride. Not that kind of thrilling ride. Just for kids. That's what I thought. Just think: kids are allowed to ride provided they are accompanied by adults. So, I assumed it was OK.

Then....off we went on..going on and on...making circles. Cool. Eyra liked it, too.  Eyra grabbed the handle tightly while clinging to my right side. 

Wuuuuusshhh....ooops...it was getting faster and faster ....and we heard some screams.  We did scream, too. 

Then....what came next was so unexpected....

the tent or some kind of huge blanket started to fall over us and cover all of us. we were still riding on the fast speeding ride and we were trapped inside. What a sensation!

Then....the blankets were flipped up again...and we were able to see or be seen again^^

the ride kept going on and on...ups and downs...

then...the blankets started to roll up again all over us....here we go...we were prepared this time.

and...that's the whole point of this ride....going back up and down and ready to be cloaked in the middle of the ride.

** The attendant of the ride funnily said that the ride was made for couples. well, I knew exactly what he meant^^

After a small accident of a twisted finger, Freya got to be treated in a first aid center inside the Park. She was fine. Just a bit shocked^^

Then, off we went again to take the picture in front of Vroomz land.

The Sakura lane. That's what it was called. I guess..

 Relax. Smile.Vast.Sakura.White.Windy.

Other Attractions @ Seoulland

If you are into the games of minds, it'd be great to try your guts at the up-sized down world, glass-house, world of wonders, tilted house or that kind of stuff at Seoulland. This park offers this cool stuffs, too. Once we tried to enter this seemingly not-that-challenging attraction, but eventually it did attract our attention since we hardly found our way out, out of mind.

Then, another exciting ride for the kids ( yes, mostly kids)...is Happy Feet 4D. I think this is now...something so ordinary and looks so cheesy. We could even have this without having to go here. But, for those who just wanna have fun while being there...why not just poke ourselves at something as trivial as this. 

And...if we are a bit restless or tired, the Korean traditional village is  available. We could take a rest while having lunch or any light snacks ala Korea. 

Snow sledging at Seoulland

Winter would not be complete without any snow-related outdoor activities.
And..this belief had ticked us into the doorstep of Seoulland~one of Korea's theme parks available near Seoul.
It was in January and the snow was at its peak!
We had a concession tickets for foreigners and that was a great advantage for us. We just needed to pay 10,000 Won each. Well, what d' ya' know....the daily pass was usually 33,000 Won.
Woah..what a treat!

 So, we went there with whole family and friends.
The first thing first: snow-sledging....: the first must-do activity for the kids.....and their Daddy..and her Mom, too^^
Yes...the view was nice from up above the starting point--as seen on the pics.
Eyra was so excited that she kept insisting on doing it many many times. She never felt tired or ...let alone...got bored of first-ever snow-sledging.
Well......it was a good thing that she eventually could manage to do it by herself....
First, we got to be with her....and..then....she just enjoyed the whole fun-time experience alone....to her heart's content.
As for us, we were just enjoying what Seoulland had to offer.
Seoulland is not that far from Seoul. Just taking a blue line, it would take about 20 minutes or so from downtown Seoul.












Once we got there.....it would be like we were not in Seoul again..since it was surrounded by the hills and  lakes around it.
worth-visiting place? yes.
In fact, we are already planning on going back there again in Spring, this April.
The tickets are already in hands. ^^
