아빠와 함께 하는 독서교실 part 2

Autumn...last weekend on October...Freya school invited the students along with their Dads to participate in a program...called "Reading Class with Father" 

Of course...we're sitting while the teacher was delivering a story-telling act...

Then...the kids chose the mask they wish to color

Eyra pergi ke Sekolah as usual

Dengan tas Hello Kitty terbarunya, kuambil gambar ini pas Eyra mulai memasuki kompleks sekolahnya. 

Jam 9 teng masuk, namun biasanya 10 menit sblmnya kami sdh sampai di dekat sekolah....setelah menempuh 20 menit perjalanan dg subway en bis.

방과후 공개수업

다담주부터 새로운 수업이 시작될태니까 이반주 금요일까지 모든 방과후수업은 공개수업을 진행하고 있다.

So..I went into Eyra's colorclay class.

선생님께서 부모들에게 친절하게 진행 중인 수업에 대해 설명했다.

Medical Check Up for Eyra

All.students at elementary schools must have their medical check up this week. Eyra just did hers yesterday right away after school. It's free. 

We decided to have it at Kyunghee hospital because previously we had it at another hospital.

All were checked including blood test *which made Eyra cry* and urine test, eye test, visual, hearing, dental test. ....etc.

I think it's good...so good that I appreciated what the school had provided for the students!

Eyra's Newest Works of Art

Another Monday afternoon as usual. Eyra walked home...carrying another cool works of art she created at school. 

It has been the 3rd year in a row that she keeps on practising ....making stuffs out of color clay. 

and...to date...this is the biggest one so far. Hmm...is it? She has made many arts....so many that we just couldnt keep all of them in one place.

This is samulnori-players. Right, Eyra?

Freya Will be an Elementary School Student

Last week I took Freya to her new school. Yup...on Feb. 12, Freya will finish her 2-yeryear kindergarten^^

Whoa..time passes.

We decided to send her to a different school from where her eonni is.

It's much closer to home.

Starting from March 2, 2015...she will be officially an elementary school student....that she has been talking about. Yup she is excited. That's a good sign. 

Congratulations to you, Freya.

Semoga jadi anak yang baik dlm segala hal. AMIN.

Book Shopping!!!

Book Shopping! I let them be at the book store for two hours or so and let them choose the books they wanted to buy.

Yes...it's book-time. We go to a book store to let them explore things they wish to see through books. 

What we love about going to the book store in Korea is how the store freely let the buyers-to-be decide as to what books to buy..mostly since the books are open for reading. Not sealed in plastics...though some are surely are. 

Freya and Eyra love going to the bookstore. Even the idea of going there really excites them. 

Interestingly, they read Korean books more than the Indonesian ones. Of course, since we live here at the moment. 

Even Freya who's still in the kindergarten already got a knack for books...thanks to the weekly reading activity that the school sort of 'force' her to^^.  

Actually....it's their Mom who took these pictures. As for me? Of course I was at the book section that I love. 

Now..let's go home. Did you have a great time at the book store, Eyra?

Going to School

It's summer and yet ..it's not yet summer holiday for the kids. They got to wait until July 23 to have a great splash. Since I am now officially in holiday..I could easily take them to school. Today...I watched them over..while they were going to school.

We take subway and bus to reach their school since we live far away from their education center. But..that's the fun part of it. 

Since there are many bus lines to choose from. Today we took the rather-empty 120 bus that would transport us to the school. Since not many people around, we could easily take the picture without having to worry of any gazing-eyes....^^

It looks like the science class really captivated them to explore....*dunno* what they're making of.....But, I am sure they did enjoy the time spent during the class.
