Dongdaemun Design Plaza ep.6: the underground
yep...from the used-to-be watergate at Dongdaemun, the towering fashion district is distinctively visible.
...an elevator is spotted!
Yup..it's colorfully lighted.
to give it a stark contrast to this underground watergate from where I took this picture.
Turning my back, I could see some parts of Dongdaemun Design Plaza.
An alien spacecraft and arched stone bridge.
The mixture of modern~traditional feel around the complex.
The lighting designed to highlight the depth did enhance the night view.
ok...this is a wider angle of the watergate.

Illuminated Design @DDP ep. 5
At least that's how I saw it. It was simply inviting and alluring.
The design itself was like nothing I saw before.
It enhanced the dramatic backdrop...which was none other than the DDP itself.
...from afar...it's like emanating from a SF movie.
yes....there's a sort of alien-like feel to it.
And the glaringly silhouettes....
....which came from my wife...^^
☆oh well...
DDP had played tricks on me....I guess^^

Dongdaemun Design Plaza has always been successful in attracting more and more people to keep coming back.
why? Well....because it's always been changing its exhibits.
like these chairs.
yep...it's chairs...movable and redesingn-able.
...as playgrounds...OK.
...as...a photo shoot spot...OK.
Especially with the ILLUMINATED DDP as its BACKGROUND.

oh...we encountered these shining... silvery plush... triangles intertwined in such a way...
that a different angle of the camera would make it look like something out of the future-:D
or...underneath it...to.see what DDP may feel and look like.
or...better yet....we're going into the arts itself.
After all it's possible and allowed....and ENCOURAGED!!! ㅋㅋㅋ
