The one ...and only tree....we saw at the subway...

..of course..because it's the one that Eyra made....

..she just brought it home from school.

And..deliberately I asked her to put it on the subway station floor!

..then...click click click...I took some snaps.

Ini Rasanya Jika Bawa 4 Anak^^

Di subway pun main-main. Asik jg. 

Hari ini mereka nonton Shaun the Sheep. Nonton pun jg ber-6 jadinya.

Photo ticketnya jg jadi.6.

Lagi. Pas pulang pun...adaaa sj. Pas kereta goyang...mrk pun jua.

Popcorn pun hrs 2 rasa biar adil rata.

Tapi asyiknya....ada bbrp foto yg beda-beda.

Sempet-sempetnya jg baca buku pop-up di dlm kereta.

ADA waktu nunggu lift♧pun, asik ke toko buku.

Yup, Eyra Freya dg kedua temannya...yg sebentar lg akan meninggalkan Korea utk ke negara lain.

Jadi....tentu sj photo tickets ini bs jd salah satu kenang-kenangan buat mrk semua.

Kejadian di Beberapa Titik

Pertama....kita hrs pisah krn arah tujuannya berbeda. Adi ssnm dkk hrs balik ke hotel.

Untuk itu kami hrs ambil gambar dulu sbg kenangan. Ini di jalur 6 & 7 saat hrs transfer.

Ok...smg cukup belanjaannya hr ini.

Sempat kupotret Eyra dr seberang peron lain saat  kami menunggu kereta datang.

...di dlm krt dg bawaan tas hello.kittynya.

Sesaat sblm brgkt...lg lg sempet kuabadikan momen Adi dan Renci dlm jalur 1 menuju hotel mrk di Sinseoldong.

Sudut yg unik jg trnyta...

Welah....iki mah foto eyra freya pas numpak bis menyang perpus nggo cah-cah.

DAEBANG station

a look.from.the upper  platform of Daebang station on a hot scorching summer afternoon.

I was going back home from work...and since it's so hot...I couldn't just walk....but instead ...took a taxi from the office straight to this station just to save time...and energy.

*ini foto iseng krn kepanasan...not knowing what to do while waiting for the train to arrive.

Layanan Masyarakat tg MERS

Memang ....MERS sedikit memporakporandakan semua hal yg kite tahu tg Korea. Syukurlah semua berangsur tenang. Tapi utk urusan pencegahan, tdk berhenti. Di berbagai sudut kota bnyk.ditemui leaflet atau poster utk mendidik.warga tg bahayanya MERS dan bagaimana mencegahnya.

seperti ini sengaja dibikin kartun agar lebih.tone down dan orang mau meliriknya.

What We Could Learn From Ads in Subway...

A contest of DMZ related content to attract everyone to share their visions on DMZ.

A picture I took ....which is actually a part of Seoul city campaign to make Seoul an integrated social and economic network of people.

And....the creativity of Seoul's communities. ..to be a better place for all.

I found out that....

First...the cosmetics shop at HUFS station has been replaced by a mini museum about HUFS itself. I think it is a good idea to give information to all visitors. .old and new...about the university..even if they do not go to the university,  at least they could take a glimpse look into it...right at the museum...I mean...at the subway station.

Second...I found this bizarre vending machine that sells snack for pets! Yup. It may not be that bizarre for some people, though. Ok..I bumped into it when I was transferring at Seokgye station.

The fact that it exists shows that there are lots of pet owners who take subway along with their pets.

 What would a visit to Seoul without Myeongdong?

Just like any other Southeast Asian tourists:-), my sisters-in-law also got their fair share of nipping into the much-hyped Myeongdong...though..well..it's a bit upmarket compared to the laid back Namdaemun...even when we talk about the prices. 

But, of course..we could savor the energy and the vibrant that this place offered, right? 

A drizzle may hinder some, but not for us. 

Oh, I still remembered that we went out for traveling or shopping or just sight-seeing right after picking the girls up from school. So, Eya and Freya were practically still tagging along their school bags! 

"What am I doing here, Dad?" 

Not much, Dear. Unless you got tons of bucks to spend^^ 

Ok..let's go home, then. 

But before that..the girls wanted to have some pictures taken.

DONE!

We're @ the underground Myeongdong before catching the subway back home...

and Freya was seen...munching something. Yeaap..she's hungry. 

She's like..lost in her own world of "Deli Manjo"=an emergency food for hungry travelers. 

Going back home....on the subway...and Freya got her wish: 

clinging on the hand-rail...^^like what adults do.

When Even ONE meter DOES matter!!!

We're transferring at Gongdeok Station (line 5 & 6) when we encountered this funny sign. 

The pictures speaks for itself.^^

I wonder whether it was meant for a real purpose of indicating direction or just for FUN.^^

Either way it INDEED works.^^
