Masih di Kediri: Foto Keluarga Lagi

Semenjak Bapak sakit, beliau lebih sering berbaring di kamar itu. Nyaman sepertinya buat Bpak. Semoga semakin dan selalu sehat, Pak. 

Hari itu, hari ke-5 saya berada di Kediri dan saya harus segera ke Jogjakarta sebelum balik ke Seoul. Untuk itu, mumpung Seonhee juga di Kediri dan ada adik sepupuku..si UCha...maka kami lagi-lagi foto keluarga. 

Tambahan keluarganya. 

apalagi ada si kunyil Bara dan Lala, kakaknya. Semoga Bapak dan Ibu selalu bahagia dikelilingi anak cucunya. 

 

Setelah foto-foto, ibu seperti biasa pergi ke Masjid. Kali ini tentunya untuk tarawih. Ibu terlihat bersama keponakanku.

Going to Kelud Volcano: Part 3

Kelud Active Volcano: Kediri, East Java, Indonesia. 

Alhamdulillah bisa ke sana juga..walaupun puasa-puasa. 

The smoke...the strong wind...did not dampen our eagerness to witness the natural beauty of Kelud. 

Lush green imbued with grey barren land full of volcanic ashes....is simply breathtaking. 

The clouds formation at times shivered our spines..since it was so tensely chilling to be up there...knowing that the volcano is active!!!

we're not allowed to take our cars up to the mountain..so we either walk, take a motorbike taxi, or...just stopped here....with no further view...but..but..but... 

how could I be contented if I could only see up to this threshold... 

I know and admitted that this view from this point is already....awe-inspiring.....and enough to give shiver down to my spine..since it's all ravine..ravine..ravine...from where I was standing...

The temptation to go up further....and further..compelled me to...go up.  * more on this later on.

But for now..let's take a picture. Min Seon-hee was so happy to be able to see the volcano up close.

and..Pangkalan Ojek as it is stated ...simply means that..up from this point on...we're not allowed to go up unless we take an OJEK or motor bike taxi. 

More stories on that later. but...for now...selfies..and pictures first.

Traditional Night Market @ Kediri

We made a t shirt with Bara's name on the back of the shirt...at a cost of 17,000 Rupiah or 1.5$. 

We continued our stroll along the market. 

When we encountered this passionately kind-heart man selling fresh orange juice...for 5,000 each. 

But..as it turned out...the juice was superb!!! 

As it is a night market....the traditional one....we could bump into lots of vendors like these barbie-like dolls.

oh...kutemukan krupuk ini. wow....dan gulali or traditional stweets... 

and..got some to bring back home. 

mengingatkanku pada masa kanak-kanak... 

with the Arc de Triomphe visible....we're going back home.

But..before going back home..NASI GORENG.......was a stop-over.... 

Oh...this was one of the BEST nasi goreng I ever had.
