Inside the ARC

I was so overwhelmed by these Oscar men in blue! I mean...they're all like saying "annyeonghaseyo" greeting.^^

..so without further ado, we replied back by greeting these blue Oscar menㅋㅋㅋ

It's a cool display, indeed.

Even the stairs leading up to the next display also had their own signature.

Ok..these guys are my students who are also happen to be the DJs of UT Korea Radio whom I had my trip with. 

From the upper level...this was what it looked like inside the gallery.

A huge circular screen displaying numerous nature-related contents.

Seemed to be like Elsa's stairs to the Ice Palace she made.

It's my turn to take a moment for the sake of remembering the moment we had there.

Bye bye blue Oscar men!

As we got off at Sangmyung University Gate....we crossed the street and hopla...we saw this traditional gate.

With arched bridge

...this gate looked different from others we saw. Wel...sonewhat.

I love how it haa aged...

...and saw a sign of how time has consumed this gate.

For some...it may look ordinary.

...and autumn didn't leave its mark...not just yet.

...as I walked farther away...I could see the whole panoramic view of the surroundings.

...and the arched bridge next to it...

If only all trees had turned into colors!^

☆oh...there's also a construction on progress...so we couldn't go near the stream

Bonghwasan ....《part 2: From Atop

Senja terlihat dari atas puncak Bonghwasan.

Sayang banyak awan jd tak terlihat mentarinya.

Namun tetep bs melihat Seoul yg padet banget.

It's a good thing it's not that cold...

...so we could at least stay on the top for 30 minutes or so.

The sun was about to set...

...then we found a stupa-like monument...

...which turned out to be...Achasan Bongsudae 봉수대. What's this?

It's an ancient military communication system using smoke as signals to alert other troops or guards about the approaching arrival of enemy/enemies.

But....of course it's all in the past. We don't need it^^

Lunch ---> Time Travel^^

Sea side restaurants....offer nothing but seafood!!! hmm...as tempting as it may sound...we did not want to. So, as we strolled along this tiny town..we saw THIS. 강릉초당두부 (Gangneung chodang dubu).  IN we went to.^^ 

With a small creek...or river...flowing towards the sea...in front of the street across the restaurant...

we could see this tiny town

and...off we went into this restaurant. 

After lunch, we're ready to take the train....that would take us to the time travel experience..^^ 

Yup..this train is actually a TIME museum. 

what a unique concept to begin with.
