Sky Garden ++

We bumped into this sky garden. .

After barely finding "nothing" at the so-called "Black Friday" Sale at one dept.store.

Luckily. . .we got something to cool us down. As for Freya, she's just sitting on the wooden floor. . .

. . .doing nothing but staring at these high rises.

Yup. . .these were what she's probably staring at. Ok...enough being outdoor...

We got inside the building and bumped into an exhibition. . .

. . .displaying photographs of endangered and rare species across the globe.

Hmmm....We didn't have that much time. Butterflies.  . . .singing within my tummy. Let's get something to eat, Fre.

Happiness in Small Stuffs

Small stuffs like what? well, in this particular case, we just let the kids play around in the neighborhood playground.  

Simply by letting them go and play...and making sure that they go home as they promised themselves and as long as they keep their promise...., we let them play. 

Freya--although she's moody at times--has to be the one who mostly shows her utmost joy even when we let them play outside. 

The free playground is also one of the several places we visit or let the kids visit by themselves to have their daily activities fulfilled to the maximum.

A 5-Minute Walk from Our Apartment and We Ended Up in...

First, a public park where kids can have a great time playing around in the playground. Well, we have one near our apartment, but this park is bigger. 

Summer is ON. Bring it ON.  

With a lovely weather like this, we could spend the whole day there. Wait...suray, are you nut? 'lovely' you said? ^^ 

Well...at least for the kids who seemed to never mind the heat... 

But, this is something that I can relate to. Who would've thought that near our apartment, we could actually find a hill that is--well--good enough to hang around.

It's about 7 pm and the sun was about to set... 

I could not believe that we live in Seoul, well..it's still in the city, and yet we could end up finding this... 

for others, it may look trivial, but for us...it's not.

we simply love it.

5-minute walk from home and we can go on a hike...

Multicultural Kids Gathering

After watching the Gayageum show, the kids seemed to be adamant of going back home. They thought that it would be too early to go home...so we decided to take them to a nearby playground where we (the parents) could sip some coffee while letting the kids play^^ 

We just let them play ...and luckily it was not that cold today. It was only 6 degrees Celsius and that was warm to our standard.^^ (Look who's talking, tropical suray:)  

We bought them some lunchbox for them to enjoy in between their playtime. 

Actually we did not buy the lunchbox at this Coffee Shop, but since we also bought some coffee here, the host just let the kids have their lunchbox there. 

The coffee-shop also provided one computer for the kids to play the games. I felt like this is intentionally designed so ..in order to let the parents do the chit-chat while their kids play some games...* not to mention the nearby playground where the Cafe was located.^^

All in all...today we did have a great time of taking the kids out..during the weekend.
