It's a neighborhood party held at the height of spring.

Families flocked to the venue to experience lots of activities.

Drawings made by kindergarten kids were being shown around the park.

A different way to show off kid's works.

it's hot...I know, dear.

Escorts helped ease the traffic around the venue so as to give a sense of safety for both the cars and visitors to the party.

....and after the party, the girls met their Eonni who later took them to the cat's cafe.

Freya's Alien (pun intended) Arts

Yes..I went home to find this amazing arts Freya made. Didn't know what got into her head, but ..surely it was a remarkable idea, for sure. She just drew some sketches, colored them, cut them out, and put them all together onto an already star-studded black paper that her Mom bought for her. 

She created an alien-related pop-art page..that's what she intended to do. The effort of putting so many details was what caught my attention. The coloring itself was an exceptionally bright idea. Although after thorough inspection..^^ she drew her ideas out of the books and other pictures...still I guess...she had her own way of stylizing them into a story line. 

Earth, planets, an alien, a teddy bear, and a green oink-oink as she told me...were the characters of what she could think of. Hmm..it may have something to do with the alien..that's what I wanted to say in the first place. ^^though not quite sure of what the story was all about.

All in all, these are Freya's works of arts...or alien-related works of arts.

Little Ms. Makers & Their Creativity

The Cbeebies' Mr. Maker Series is one of the shows that the kids love to see. It kind of 'ignite' and 'spark' their idea either to follow the footstep of Mr. Maker or just to plainly create something new out of creativity. Today, they looked so busy making stuffs out of paper they cut into pieces, preceded by water-coloring activity. 

As I got closer to take a look at what they're making..."Oh, I see. Eyra is making a family of dolphins." 

As for Freya, she's making a family of clown fish. ^^.

Wow..what a cool way to make the best use of all the scraps and unused paper at home. 

Though it may look so simple, they had a great time making them together--> 

something that I hope they will keep on sharing.

Works of Arts

April 5, 2014. Saturday morning. They didn't take a shower:) and...no school. and...well..they made most of their time....at home doing stuffs they like doing.

Eyra...drew a flower simply it's spring time, she said. 

accompanied by the chirping birds I bought from Petite France the other day.^^ 

Okay..I didn't quite get what you drew, dear. But, at least...you got a great Saturday morning, right? 

Freya's been busy...

She loves cutting,pasting, drawing, paper-folding, all those kinds of stuffs. Her Mom bought her a craft-out-of-the-book creativity book. 

It's more than 50 activities to catch up and stuffs to do inside the book.

She just couldn't resist making the things 'come to life' out of the book.

She's been staying late well..a little later than 9 pm simply to keep on cutting and making the crafts out of the book. 

This time, she's making two dragonflies or..wait are they supposed to be planes? no..they're insects. Gosh..she just couldn't put it down...which is a good thing, right?
